Modo hot yoga is a unique yoga series that combines the precision of therapeutic yoga and the foundations of traditional yoga in a specially heated room. The series is a cardiovascular workout that strengthens, tones and loosens the muscles, while calming the mind and reducing stress. The 'hot' in hot yoga allows for deep, safe stretching and promotes detoxification of the skin, blood and muscles through sweat. Ending the year with gratitude. ✨ Wherever you’re at, you’re allowed to begin again gently. We’re here when you’re ready.

As we welcome this new season, we’re beginning with intention; a steady breath, grounded movement, and openness to all that this year will bring.

Pause for a moment and try Box Breath.

Inhale as you count to 4 then hold the breath and count to 4, exhale for 4, hold on empty for 4 and repeat 3 times or more if you wish. You are creating space for calm, clarity, and presence.

This simple breathing practice helps regulate the nervous system and bring you back into your body.

Meet Kina… 📣�
She’s teaches Modo yoga on Mondays at 4:30!
yoga ‘s practice is often about play approaching life with a child’s heart and curiosity.

Her journey began back in 2005 at university, and after nearly two decades, she felt called to share yoga with others. She loves helping students explore new ways to move, find joy, and cultivate peace through their bodies.

A lifelong journaler and stationery lover, has been capturing her thoughts on paper since age eleven.

Beyond yoga, she’s a full-time freelance artist with over a decade of experience and teaches painting and drawing to students of all ages at the Ottawa School of Art.
