Modo hot yoga is a unique yoga series that combines the precision of therapeutic yoga and the foundations of traditional yoga in a specially heated room. The series is a cardiovascular workout that strengthens, tones and loosens the muscles, while calming the mind and reducing stress. Savasna is the pose that is the easiest to do and the hardest to master.

Not because it’s physically demanding, but because it asks us to completely let go. To lie still, soften our grip on thoughts, and allow ourselves to be fully supported. The body can do many challenging things, but the mind likes to resists stillness.

And yet, in this final pose: we practice resting, receiving, and remembering that doing nothing can be the most powerful thing of all.

Meet Annick 🩷 She started practicing yoga to feel strong, to feel calm and to feel connected to herself and the world around her.

Annick says, "yoga has taught me many things throughout the years. As a reformed perfectionist, it has taught me to be kinder and gentler with myself. It has taught me that stillness can be just as powerful as action and to strive to live in the present moment. This is still a challenge for me but I work on it every time I step on my mat."
