A little while ago, Aimee and Will took a well-deserved getaway… and came back engaged! 💍❤️

The best part? Yes, the engagement itself is incredible news — but what truly made our hearts full was how excited and proud they were to come straight to the gym and share it with their fairly new WOD family. That kind of joy and connection is exactly what makes our community so special. 🏋️‍♂️💪

This past Sunday we wrapped up our final WOD in the Park of the season, and what a turnout it was! 🙌 It’s been such an awesome summer getting outside together, enjoying the sunshine, and tackling some workouts with a different twist.

From hills to sleds, every session brought a new challenge and fresh stimulus—and you all pushed hard every single time. 💥 It’s inspiring to see how everyone came together, had fun, and left a little fitter and healthier each day.

We used to run across fields, climb trees, swing from ropes, and play until the sun went down—without a second thought. Movement was freedom, adventure, and pure joy.

But somewhere along the way, life slowed us down. We sit more. We work behind desks. We trade play for screens. And before we know it, movement becomes an afterthought.

"CrossFit Fortis’ Diapers & Dumbbells program was exactly what I needed after my third baby was born and I realized it had been 7 years since I had been to a gym. The coaches are supportive, kind, and make sure every workout is safe and effective for each individual. I felt stronger every week and loved being part of a group of moms, all in it together. I would highly recommend the program to any new mom looking to get into fitness, no matter their current abilities. And since 12 weeks just wasn't enough, I'm happy to continue into the next phase of my CrossFit adventure at Fortis. This gym is for everyone."

Our 8-week Build Program is back, and if you’re ready to get stronger, fine-tune your technique, and smash some personal bests, this is the program for you! After two incredibly successful sessions in 2024 and one earlier this year, we’re kicking off our second session for 2025 with even bigger goals and more PRs.

Build is a progressive strength program designed to help you master the three key lifts — squats, bench press, and deadlift — while incorporating accessory work to build stability, power, and confidence under the bar. Whether you’re chasing your first PR or looking to push past a plateau, this program is built to deliver results.

Lifting heavy is a powerful way to build strength, muscle, and confidence—but only when it’s done with purpose and proper form. Chasing numbers too early or letting ego take over often leads to injury, frustration, and missed training time.
