Have you heard of a Ukrainian “Terry Fox”? 🇨🇦

Canada has long been home to extraordinary stories of strength and today, we’re proud to support a modern-day hero right here at our clinic.

We’re playing a humble role in supporting Ukrainian-born Oleks Kyya, a 35-year-old who has lived in Canada for the past 20 years and earned a degree as an English–French translator from the University of Montreal.

He has specially travelled from Montreal to Ottawa to receive daily treatment and physical preparation at our clinic ahead of his next major charity walk!

Despite living with cerebral palsy, Oleksandr has walked hundreds of kilometres across Canada to raise funds for Ukrainian children’s and military hospitals, proving that determination knows no limits.

Over the past three years, Oleks has completed four major charity walks:

👣 Montreal to Ottawa (3 times) = 660km
👣 Toronto to Niagara Falls = 150km

Altogether, he’s raised $40,000 CAD to supply medical equipment.

🧡 Now, we are humbled to play a small role in helping him get ready as he prepares for his next challenge next month:

✅a 200 km walk from Calgary to Banff with the goal of $20,000 CAD

Every step he takes brings healing to others.
