Today at Maplewood, we actively joined the cause for Truth and Reconciliation Day, standing in solidarity with Indigenous communities across Canada.
All our staff and residents proudly wore orange shirts to honour the survivors of residential schools and to remember those who never made it home.
Our halls were filled with learning, reflection, and unity. A mural was displayed to inspire conversations and promote awareness.
A group of residents and team members came together to create beautiful dreamcatcher crafts, embracing Indigenous traditions.
