Yoga-World/MountainGoat Yoga Studio Our Mission is simple. I'm very excited to finally share with all of you my new business venture. Yoga World brings yoga wear from around the world to Ottawa.

To encourage women to love and accept their bodies by providing ethically made yoga clothing that is fun, flattering and supportive in all the right places. After many years of dreaming, planning, researching and getting cold feet.....I am ready to launch Yoga World. I have been having much fun shopping and researching manufacturers and learning a great deal in the process. I have been diligent in finding clients who make their clothes ethically, using sustainable blends and in many cases organic materials. Many are handmade and hand dyed. Some of the clothing is actually made from recycled water bottles! The companies I have chosen to build a collection of comfortable and affordable pieces, also give back to the world in some way. One company contributes a % of their sales to charitable organizations like Yoga Gives Back which is dedicated to helping mothers in India start their own businesses and send their children to school. Another supports ARCAS. An animal rescue centre in Guatemala which helps rescue, rehabilitate and release wild animals back into their natural habitat. And one company gives monthly donations of their clothing to women's shelters and centres. I could go on but it may be easier for all of you to check out my website www.yoga-world.ca. Our Story

Every time we purchase something, we send a message. Our dollars become our voice. I think it’s imperative that we truly start to think about where our products come from, how they are made and who is impacted in the manufacturing of these products as well as how it affects our environment. Yoga World is about connecting with like minded individuals to bring you yoga clothes that is ethically made, using sustainable blends and organic materials.

Yoga World also wants you to know how these wondeful companies go a step further by giving back to their communities. Yoga Gives Back is an organization that helps mothers in India start their own businesses and send their children to school. ARCAS is an animal rescue centre in Guatemala which helps rescue, rehabilitate and release wild animals back into their natural habitat. Monthly donations of unsold yoga clothing goes to women's shelters and centres. These are smaller companies making a difference.
