Most people treat their car 🚘 better than their heart ❤️
In 2025, I watched something unfold that I didn't expect not in the patients we helped, but in the people around me who chose to show up differently.
We built the Cardiac Longevity Clinic on a belief that still feels uncomfortable to say out loud in healthcare:
Not "treatable."
Not "manageable."
And yet the system is designed to intervene after the damage is done.
I stopped waiting for permission to do it differently.
What surprised me most wasn't the clinical outcomes it was the people.
The team we built doesn't just clock in. THEY CARE. Deeply. About the humans in front of them.
But here's what I keep thinking about:
If we can help people in one clinic, why stop there?
2026 is about reach with responsibility.
Expanding preventative care across Ottawa and beyond, so people get the chance to act early, not after everything changes.
But there's something else.
I want to speak directly to the public more.
To educate.
To give people tools, not fear.
Because when people understand their own health, everything shifts.
They feel better. They live longer.
This isn't about doing more.
It's about doing work that matters, at scale, without losing what started it all.
Here's to a year of Proactive Care before Symptoms become Consequences.
Happy New Year.
