It is with great sadness that the CTSACT team shares the news of the passing of Adjunct Therapist Erefaa Ogbuaku Jnr. We extend our deepest condolences to all of Erefaa's friends and family, as well as the clients who she supported throughout her career. Clients of Erefaa who require additional support are welcome to reach out to CTSACT.

Meet our recipient charities! Mental health edition. 🧠

Our featured charity today is the Centre for Treatment of Sexual Abuse and Childhood Trauma. Their work providing trauma-informed individual and group therapy empowers community members to live their best lives.

We would like to highlight their trauma processing group therapy program today. This program fills a gap in mental health services because a lot of low-income therapy offerings are not trauma-informed or are very short term (2-6 sessions). As a result, CTSACT faces long waitlists and high demands for this specialized group therapy. Their participation in HOPE Volleyball SummerFest will give them the resources to increase their offerings so more people can get the support they need when they need it.
