We’re thrilled to share that Delphine Haslé, Executive Director and Chief Development Officer, Perley Health Foundation, has been awarded with the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP)'s Outstanding Fundraising Professional for 2025, one of the highest honours in philanthropy! This award recognizes an individual who demonstrates exceptional leadership, integrity, and measurable impact in fundraising.

Delphine’s visionary leadership has transformed our Foundation and inspired record-breaking generosity across our community, continuously surpassing all fundraising goals since she joined the Perley Health team in 2019. This award serves to further highlight her ability to combine professional excellence with authentic human connection, skills that stand out not only within Perley Health but also within the broader community and national philanthropic spaces.

This award from AFP not only highlights Delphine's incredible accomplishments as a leader in our organization, but also affirms Perley Health and the Perley Health Foundation's commitment to trust, transparency, and excellence in our shared mission.

At Perley Health we recognize the importance of supporting mental well-being for everyone; including residents, tenants, staff, volunteers, and our wider community. Mental health is a vital part of overall health, and fostering an environment of respect and support is at the core of what we do.

we had the annual Perley Health Service Milestone and Retirement Awards!

The annual Staff Recognition Event brought together the community to celebrate the dedication and achievements of 107 members of our staff (including 14 recent retirees!) for their long service. Honorees received certificates and milestone pins for years of service ranging from five to 35+ years!

Thank you for sharing, Ontario Long Term Care Association! We are so proud of this innovative programming in partnership with Andrew Fleck Children's Services. We can't wait to open doors next spring!

Perley Health in Ottawa has partnered with Andrew Fleck Children’s Services to break ground on a first-of-its-kind facility in Canada. This intergenerational childcare centre will connect children and seniors through play, art, and music.

September 30th was both National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day. Check out just a few of the staff, residents, tenants, volunteers, and visitors who wore orange!

This event was encouraged by the Perley Health Cultural Awareness & Inclusion Committee, aligned with Perley Health's People First philosophy. The Committee works to help foster a welcoming, inclusive community through education and events. It directly supports the organizational capacity to respond to the evolving needs within our changing healthcare system and an increasingly diverse community.

We made a friend from Deborah's Gift Boutique and just had to show him around the place! See some photos of him playing BINGO with the residents (he got lucky!), appreciating some fine resident and tenant-made art around the facility, grabbing some yummy lunch from the cafe, "supervising" the Perley Health Intergenerational Child Care, a program of Andrew Fleck Children’s Services construction process, and, of course, popping by the Pub in time for happy hour!
