Excited to announce that I've been awarded a 2024 Menopause Society scholarship to take their online Menopause 101 course (with accompanying textbook), and sit the exam to become a certified Menopause Society practitioner in June (or October, depending on how the studying goes).

Although I've been doing this work for close to 20 years, I'm looking forward to refreshing my skill set with the most up-to-date and evidence based training in North America. Will be scaling my office hours back a wee bit, but I'll still be in the office 4/5 days/week to provide the same personalized care as I've always been.

Got my Uresta samples today for my office. These look like a great option for many women suffering from stress incontinence or mild/moderate pelvic prolapse. They don’t have to be fitted in office (the trial kit comes with three common sizes), have clear, understandable instructions for use, and with daily washing with neutral soap and water, can last up to a year. Oh, and they are often covered by extended health with a prescription by me or another provider. Could be game changing for many women!
