💆Meet Aleisha Wall 💆‍♂️

Aleisha’s journey into massage therapy began with encouragement from a close friend and colleague who knew she’d thrive in the field—and she was right. While working as a Kinesiologist, Aleisha felt something was missing in her ability to help patients achieve their goals. Once she discovered the power of manual therapy, everything clicked. Since becoming an RMT, she hasn’t looked back.

✨ Specialties: Aleisha has a strong interest in women’s health, with a particular passion for supporting pre- and postnatal clients, breast cancer and plastic surgery patients, and individuals navigating recovery from C-sections. She is a Vodder Certified Lymphatic Therapist, trained in oncology massage, including scar tissue work. Her goal is always to help clients feel more supported, less pain, and more connected to their bodies.

💡Her philosophy: Aleisha combines therapeutic techniques with intentional relaxation, believing that every treatment should meet both the physical and emotional needs of her clients. Whether it’s deep trigger point therapy or warm towels and diaphragmatic breathing, she believes in finding balance between structure and softness. She reminds clients:
"What’s broken can be mended, what’s hurt can be healed. No matter how dark it gets, the sun’s gonna rise again." – Meredith Grey

🏞 Outside the clinic: Aleisha and her family spend lots of time on the golf course together (even bringing their daughter along since she was 4 months old!). She also enjoys fiction, monthly book club meetups with her girlfriends, and winding down with good food and a favourite show.

😃Fun Fact: Aleisha played competitive basketball for 9 seasons and went on to work as an athletic therapist for the McGill men’s basketball team. Bonus fun fact ~she’s watched all 21 seasons of Grey’s Anatomy more than a dozen times 😮

✨The Benefits of Abdominal Massage Post-IVF & Fertility Treatments ✨

For those navigating the journey of fertility treatments, the body undergoes immense physical and emotional stress. Abdominal massage can be a gentle yet powerful way to support recovery and well-being post-IVF or other assisted reproductive treatments.

Here’s how abdominal massage may help:

🌿Enhances Circulation – Encourages blood flow to the uterus and reproductive organs, supporting healing and optimal function.

🌿 Reduces Tension & Bloating – Helps relieve discomfort caused by hormonal medications, injections, and procedural inflammation.

🌿Supports Digestion & Detoxification – Aids in lymphatic drainage, reducing water retention and promoting overall gut health.

🌿Eases Stress & Emotional Release – Provides a soothing touch that can help release built-up tension and emotional strain.

🌿 Promotes Pelvic Alignment – Supports overall balance in the abdominal and pelvic regions, encouraging relaxation and restoration.

Whether you’re recovering from an embryo transfer, egg retrieval, or navigating post-treatment healing, intentional touch through abdominal massage can be a beautiful way to nurture your body.

Have questions about post-fertility care? We’re here to support you!

🔴PERIOD POWER: TRAIN OR CHILL? 💪

So your period shows up—now what? Do you push through like a beast 🏋️‍♀️ or crawl under a blanket with snacks 🍫? The answer: both are valid!

Here’s the deal—exercise during your period can actually help you feel better (ya, I know you probably know that).

According to The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, aerobic exercise can help lessen PMS symptoms, but they’re keeping it vague on how much you need.

Translation? Listen to your body.

💪 FEELING STRONG? GO FOR IT!
✔ Strength training: Your body can access glycogen better now (hello, energy!)
✔ Cardio: Some women feel their endurance skyrockets during this phase
✔ Mobility & core work: Your body loves stability here

😴 FEELING LIKE A SLUG? HONOUR THAT.
✔ Gentle yoga or walking: Keeps blood flowing & reduces cramps
✔ Light stretching: Eases muscle tension
✔ Rest days: Because recovery is still progress

🚀 THE REAL SECRET?
It’s not about forcing yourself to train or skipping the gym just because you’re on your period—it’s about working with your body, not against it. Some cycles you’ll hit PRs, others you’ll just want to move a little. Both are wins.

Do you train through your period or take it easy?
