📚✨ Behind every patient visit is a quiet, relentless commitment to staying current, staying sharp, and providing compassionate care.

Each week, I comb through 100 to 200+ new research abstracts, diving into the most relevant studies to uncover what’s working, what’s improving, and what needs refining in reproductive care. It’s part of our promise: to offer care that isn’t just heartfelt but also evidence-based and up-to-date.

This week’s highlight? A compelling paper on the role of Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) in supporting symptom management for fibroids (a reminder of how botanical medicine continues to intersect with modern science in profound ways).

🔬 I take this responsibility seriously and put in the discipline and work to rise to meet it regularly, knowing that patients deserve nothing less than the best that both research and compassionate care can offer.

Holding this card in my hand today was one of those moments that stops you in your tracks. 🧡

A “Hello Baby” 👶🏼 for a little one who was once called impossible.
For a family told it couldn’t happen.
For a heart that refused to give up. 💪🏼💫

This beautiful soul was conceived naturally, after being told it wasn’t in the cards.
But strength, resilience, and unwavering belief paved a different path. ✨

I’m so honored to witness these quiet miracles. 🕊️
They are a reminder that our bodies can surprise us, that hope is not wasted, and that joy can bloom even after the darkest winters. 🌈🌸

To all those still in the thick of it…I see you.
Your story is still being written. ❤️

Some days I pause in quiet reflection. Today was one of those days. 🌼

I had the privilege of sitting across from individuals carrying some of the heaviest burdens: repeated pregnancy loss, unexplained infertility, and the uncertainty of upcoming IVF or frozen embryo transfers. And yet, through the heartbreak and resilience, they still show up. They still hope.

Being trusted to walk alongside someone during these tender, life-altering moments is not something I take lightly. It’s a sacred responsibility and a deep honor.

To everyone navigating this path: I see you. I hold space for you. And I am so grateful to be part of your story, however long or short our time together may be.

Every day this work continues to move me, ground me, and remind me why I show up with heart every single day. ❤️

Back from a restful vacation and straight into doing what I love most 💛

The weather might be gloomy, but we’re all smiles here ☕️✨

I feel so lucky and deeply blessed to return from time away right into my dream job: supporting patients through one of the most meaningful journeys of their lives.

This week alone, I had the joy of connecting with 4 patients who just got positive pregnancy tests, and 5 others who are getting so close to their due dates 🥹👶

Truly nothing more rewarding than walking alongside you on this path. Thank you for letting me be part of your story 🙏

This Father’s Day hits deep.
Holding my son in my arms during a quiet moment in New Mexico, I couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude for the laughter, the lessons, the little hands that trust mine without question. 👣🤍

Becoming a father has been the most humbling, grounding, and awe-inspiring experience of my life. And yet, I carry with me every day the awareness that so many are still waiting, hoping for this experience. 🌱

To those still on the path to parenthood: I see you. I carry your stories with me. And every day, I show up with everything I have to make this dream possible for as many families as I can. ❤️

Happy Father’s Day…with love, reverence, and hope. 💛

📱 AI gave her a diagnosis and recommended a medication that could have led to an ectopic pregnancy 💊⚠️

Someone recently shared that they uploaded their lab results into ChatGPT. It started suggesting medical conditions and even recommended a prescription medication. 😳

She still had some of the medication at home… so she took it.
The issue? The medication recommended was used in a way that increases the risk of an ectopic pregnancy, a serious and potentially life-threatening complication during early pregnancy 🚨

💡 Yes, AI can be incredible for learning. It can help break down complex test results, explain confusing terms, and empower you with knowledge. But it is not your doctor. And it doesn’t know your full story.

Let me be clear: AI can be an amazing learning tool. It can help you understand your labs, explore new treatments, or get clarity on medical jargon. But it is not a replacement for real medical care.
Because your health isn’t just data. It’s you. ❤️

🖤 Black women are 60% more likely to go undiagnosed with PCOS.

That number isn’t just a statistic, it’s a reflection of a system that too often fails to see you.
After 10 years of patient consults I often see patients struggling with irregular periods, hair thinning, unexplained weight gain, or fertility challenges…yet no one ever told them they had PCOS before.

They were told:
✨ It’s just your weight.
✨ It’s just stress.
✨ It’s just diabetes or high blood pressure.

But this is called diagnostic overshadowing, when doctors focus on one part of the picture (like obesity or diabetes) and miss the bigger, underlying condition: PCOS.

For Black women, PCOS symptoms can often manifest differently compared to other ethnicities:
• Hair thinning is more likely to be occur as a symptom of hyperandrogegism instead of increased facial hair
• Higher risk for insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes, and high blood pressure which can often lead to diagnostic overshadowing

Too many women are left undiagnosed, untreated, and unheard because their symptoms don’t fit the textbook, or they’re told their health concerns are just lifestyle issues.

Let me be clear:
💟Your pain is real.
💟Your symptoms deserve to be investigated.
💟 Your health is more than just a number on a scale or a blood sugar reading.

You know your body best, trust your intuition and ask questions and advocate for detailed answers. Find a provider who listens, understands, and is willing to look deeper.

You are not invisible. Your story matters.
Let’s raise awareness, break the silence, and make sure every Black woman with PCOS gets the care she deserves. 🫶🏾

From heartbreak to hope, and now home with baby. 🩷

One of the most meaningful parts of my work is being able to send out these little cards. ✉️Because they represent something so much bigger.

They represent the strength it took to keep going,
the courage to try again,
the tears, the waiting, the treatments. And the quiet, determined hope that one day, a baby would be in their arms. 🤍

When a patient brings home their newborn after a long infertility journey and months of pregnancy care, it’s more than just a milestone, it’s the closing of one chapter and the beginning of another.

It’s a full circle moment that humbles me every single time. 🫶

To everyone still on the path: you are not forgotten. We carry your hopes with us every day 💫
And to those now stepping into postpartum, we’re still here for you, always ❤️

Welcome, sweet baby.
You were so very loved long before you arrived. 💛

This trip to the Navajo Nation will stay with me for a long time. 🏜️ The beauty of Monument Valley took my breath away, but what truly left a mark on my heart were the people. The strength, warmth, and spirit of the Navajo community is something I’ll never forget.

I’ll admit, I was hesitant to go. With tensions rising between Canada and the U.S. over trade tariffs 🇨🇦🇺🇸, I didn’t know what to expect. But from the moment I arrived, I was embraced with kindness. I proudly told everyone I was visiting from Canada, and again and again, I was met with warmth and admiration.

So many incredible, family-owned businesses opened their doors and stories to me. 🛍️ Many shared their fears about how the new tariffs are already hurting their livelihoods. It broke my heart. These are hardworking, generous people trying to preserve something meaningful for the next generation.

I came for the red rocks and epic skies, but I left with so much more: a reminder that beyond politics and policy, there are real people who just want to support one another across borders. ❤️ I truly hope our nations find a way forward. We’re better when we lift each other up.

Today I visited my family doctor 🩺 — and while I’m truly grateful 🙏 to have one (millions of Canadians still don’t 🇨🇦), this experience left me with a lot to reflect on.

Despite a strong family history of ❤️ heart and kidney disease — and being a Naturopathic Doctor who believes deeply in prevention 🌱 — only four blood tests were requisitioned… each one because I specifically asked for it.

🗣️”If there are no symptoms, then no testing is required.” 🚫

No conversation about 🍎 diet.
No discussion about 🏃‍♂️ exercise, stress, or lifestyle.
No blood pressure check 📈.
No liver or kidney function tests. 🧪
No exploration of prevention at all.

Meanwhile, we know the several chronic illnesses and related deaths are preventable. Yet the system is built to intervene after we are already sick — not when we are trying to stay healthy 💪.

If there’s one thing this experience reminded me, it’s this: you have to advocate for yourself. Your future health depends on it.

🎬 Netflix’s “Alpha Males” just hit me with a scene that I can’t stop thinking about…

One of the characters, Pedro, goes in for a routine preconception fertility check. The doctor tells him his s***m count is 1 million/mL — way below the minimum reference of 15 million/mL. He also has low motility and poor morphology.

When Pedro asks, “Can I do anything to improve it?”
The doctor simply says, “No.”
👉 Straight to IVF. No options. No conversation.

Now, yes — this is a TV show. But THIS is the reality for millions of people around the world.
And the worst part?
That answer is simply not true.

In 10 years of supporting couples with fertility, I’ve worked with thousands of people in similar situations. Many of them improved their s***m parameters significantly — some even went on to conceive naturally after treatment.

But week after week, I meet new patients who’ve been told the same story:
“Your s***m count is low — nothing you can do.”
No mention of diet.
No lifestyle changes.
No supplements, antioxidants, probiotics, or exercise.
Just: “Go straight to IVF.”

⚠️ Let me be clear: I fully support assisted reproductive technologies like IVF — they can be life-changing. But telling someone they have zero control or options? That’s not just disempowering — it’s inaccurate.

💥 Just this week, one of my patients had a 2,500% increase in s***m concentration after treatment.
So if you’ve ever been told there’s nothing you can do — please know that’s not the whole story. There are options. There is hope.

📣 You deserve a second opinion.
📣 You deserve to explore every possible path.
