Today is World Health Day 🌍

This year, the theme is "Together for health. Stand with science."
a calling for all of us to stand with science.

At YSB, we see every day how evidence-based care supports youth mental health, strengthens communities, and creates safer spaces to grow. ✨

When we listen, learn, and act together, we build healthier futures for youth. 🤝

April 2nd is World Autism Day, a time to recognize and celebrate neurodiversity while continuing to build understanding and acceptance for autistic youth.

Every young person experiences the world in their own way. Supportive environments that promote understanding, inclusion and respect can make a meaningful difference for autistic youth and their mental health.

If you’re a young person under 18 years of age in Ontario and need someone to talk to, support is available.

Visit www.onestoptalk.ca or call 1-855-416-8255 (TALK) to connect with a therapist today.

🖍️ Happy National Crayon Day! 🖍️

Today we’re celebrating the simple joy of creativity - and highlighting one of our most-needed items for the Sharing in Student Success Program: CRAYONS!

For many children in our community, a fresh box of crayons means more than colour on a page. It means confidence, inclusion, and one of the tools they need to learn and thrive. 💛📚

If you’d like to support local students, we’re gratefully accepting donations of crayons and other school supplies. To donate, please contact referrals@caringandsharing.ca.

Together, we can help every child start the school year with the supplies they deserve! ✨

On International Transgender Day of Visibility, we’re standing with trans and non-binary youth and reminding you that your mental health and well-being matter. You deserve care that feels safe and affirming today and everyday. 💜

No matter how you identify, support is here when you need it. Visit www.onestoptalk.ca or call 1-855-416-8255 (TALK) to connect with a therapist today.

Eid Mubarak to our families, partners, and community members celebrating today.

We recognize that identity, culture, and faith are important parts of a young person’s story. Feeling seen and respected in those parts of ourselves contributes to safety and belonging which are essential for mental health.

We wish you peace, joy, and meaningful connection this Eid.

We are deeply saddened by the recent passing of Sgt. Robert Cleroux.

Robert was not only a dedicated member of our Board of Directors, he was a trusted champion of children’s mental health, a thoughtful leader, and a generous supporter of our mission at Crossroads Children’s Mental Health Centre.

During his time on our Board, Robert brought wisdom, humility, and an unwavering commitment to strengthening services for children, and families in our community. His steady presence and heartfelt belief in our work helped guide our organization through important growth and change. His contributions will continue to shape Crossroads for years to come, and his legacy of compassion and service will not be forgotten.

Our thoughts are with Robert’s family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
