Love Your Body Fitness is a gym located in the heart of Westboro in Ottawa. The owner of the gym Kate Laird has been a personal trainer and running Mommy Bootcamps since 2006. The gym is an inclusive space where people of all fitness backgrounds can feel welcomed and encouraged to meet their fitness and wellness goals. Our personal training and group fitness approach to fitness includes cross-training, functional fitness, and HIIT. Every day we have in-person fitness classes, as well as online classes that you can participate in from anywhere. Love Your Body fitness is known for their Mommy Bootcamps where you can bring your children so that you can get your workout in while your kids play. Our team of personal trainers are experienced in working with a variety clients including athletes, postpartum folks, and seniors.

SPRING YOUTH & TEEN FITNESS IS HERE! 💪

Give your kids the gift of movement, confidence, and community.

Our Youth & Teen Fitness Program at Love Your Body Fitness helps kids and teens build strength, coordination, and confidence in a fun, supportive environment where they can learn how to move well and feel proud of what their bodies can do.

Our certified coaches teach proper movement patterns, safe equipment use, and foundational strength skills while keeping classes engaging, positive, and encouraging for all levels.

✨ Youth Fitness (Ages 8–14)
Build coordination, learn foundational movements, and gain confidence using equipment like medicine balls, boxes, rings, and training bars.

✨ Teen Fitness (Ages 12–16)
Learn proper lifting technique, build strength and endurance, and develop confidence in the gym.

On April 18 at 12:00 PM, we’re hosting a community lifting event at Love Your Body Fitness in support of Roger Neilson Children’s Hospice.

This event is all about coming together, celebrating strength, and raising money for an incredible cause.

Our All-Levels Lifting Competition will feature three classic lifts:
🏋️ Squat
🏋️ Deadlift
🏋️ Bench Press

You can sign up for all three lifts or just your favourite — whether you’re a seasoned lifter or trying the platform for the very first time. This event is designed to be welcoming, supportive, and fun for everyone.

Who Are We?

Love Your Body Fitness is my dream that became a reality. We are here to make keeping fit accessible to everyone ESPECIALLY busy moms! Not only have we created the most flexible online and in-person schedule (attend classes live or follow the recordings at your convenience), but we also have the most amazing community! We are here to teach you that keeping your body fit, strong and healthy is something you deserve! That we make time for ourselves because we are amazing and should feel amazing! Most importantly that exercise is a celebration of what your body can do and not a punishment for something you ate! Join us to find health, balance, commitment, and community. I couldn’t be more proud of this group!
