Today, we’re holding space for all who have lost a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death.

The journey through fertility and loss can be profoundly painful — and no words can truly capture that grief.

Every year on October 15, people around the world take part in the Wave of Light. At 7 p.m. local time, candles are lit — each one representing love, remembrance, and connection. Together, they create a 24-hour wave of light that circles the globe in honour of the little ones gone too soon.

We invite you to share your light by posting a photo of your candle using to help spread awareness and solidarity.

Today is World Mental Health Day 💛

We’re thinking about everyone who is currently going through, or has gone through, fertility treatment — and the emotional challenges that come with it.

Many patients have shared that their mental health suffered the most — not just from the stress of treatment, but from feeling that the right kind of support was hard to find.

While we do everything we can to support you through our clinic, we also want to share Fertility Matters Canada — an organization where you can find mental health resources, peer connections, and professional counselling options.

If you’re in this space right now, take a moment today to check in with yourself. You deserve care and compassion too.

September is Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Awareness Month 💙 PCOS is a common condition that can make it harder to get pregnant. This month, we’re shining a light on what it means and the options that can help.

PCOS can affect how eggs develop and are released, often leading to irregular cycles and, in some cases, a higher risk of pregnancy complications. The good news is that there are many ways to manage PCOS and support your path to parenthood.

A fertility specialist can work with you to understand your goals and recommend the best options for your needs. If you’ve been diagnosed with PCOS and are having trouble conceiving — or simply have questions — we’re here for you.Book an appointment with one of our specialists: https://conceive.ca/doctor/

We know that real stories create real change. If you’ve gone through IVF, surrogacy, egg freezing, IUI, chosen single parenthood, built your family as part of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, or had any personal experience with infertility, your journey can inspire and guide others who are just starting theirs or currently on the same path.

Media often ask to hear directly from patients when covering these topics — and we’d love to have your voice on our list for when those opportunities come up.

If you’d like to share your journey, please DM us the topic of your story (and a brief summary if you wish). When the right opportunity comes along, we’ll reach out to see if you’d like to be involved.
