Interested in learning more about traditional, natural diapering techniques of our ancestors? Wondering how you can apply traditional diapering techniques in a contemporary practice that both honours and protects the wellbeing of our children and our Mother Earth? Looking for a cheaper alternative to disposable diapers?
Join Tagwanibisan, a cloth diapering mom of 3 for a 2 hour workshop to explore the effects of disposable diapers on the earth and our bodies, and how reclaiming traditional diapering practices can make a direct impact on the wellbeing our our water, our planet and our babies for 7 generations to come.
Worried about washing techniques? This workshop will explore techniques on diaper cleaning for families in apartments settings without reliable access to washing machines.
Each family will recieve a cloth diapering starter bundle, courtesy of

The National Council of Indigenous Midwives invites you join our 2026 National Virtual Forum — Body Sovereignty: Reclaiming Birth, Reclaiming Power, convening Indigenous midwives, students, Elders, youth, survivors, advocates, and allies.

The forum examines systems that regulate and harm Indigenous bodies, including coerced and forced sterilization, birth evacuation policies, colonial regulation of care, pretendianism, and workforce shortages rooted in structural racism. This is a strategic, action-oriented gathering to name harm, amplify survivor voices, share tools, and strengthen pathways toward Indigenous-led, community-based care.

🌟 Move With Us Into the New Year 🌟

In moments like these, movement can be a way to breathe- to stay connected to our bodies, and to care for ourselves and one another.

Join us this February for a virtual movement session for grounding, resilience, and collective care. This is an invitation to move gently or powerfully, however your body needs, while being in community.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of age or ability.

This session is proudly hosted by the Indigenous Milk Medicine Collective and led by the inspiring Mee-Kai Spottedhorsechief (Pari, Ponka, Umonhon).
