✅🙌 Good news for patients in Ontario!

The province is looking to expand the list of conditions can prescribe for — adding 14 more common health issues like shingles, swimmer’s ear, and sore throats.

Great to see more provinces recognizing that when pharmacists are empowered to practice to their full education, they improve access to care in our communities.

Lorsque les pharmaciens consacrent de nombreuses heures à la paperasserie au lieu de servir les patients, et que les Canadiens sont dirigés ailleurs que dans la pharmacie de leur choix, il va de soi qu’une intervention s’impose.

L’APhC appelle instamment les gouvernements à agir pour réglementer les pratiques des GRAM et des assureurs qui imposent un fardeau inutile aux pharmacies et compromettent la capacité des patients à choisir le lieu où ils pourront recevoir des soins.
