Santé Canada a signalé une pénurie de niveau 3 d’ipratropium sous forme de nébules. L’APhC et medSask ont élaboré une ressource clinique afin d’aider les professionnels de la santé dans la prise en charge de patients auxquels on a prescrit du bromure d’ipratropium pendant la pénurie.

Good news for patients in New Brunswick! in the province are now funded to treat 3 more common ailments:

✅ Seasonal allergies
✅ Thrush
✅ Fungal skin infections (athlete’s foot, jock itch, ringworm)

That brings the total to 15 common ailments that pharmacists in the province are now funded to assess and prescribe for.

🏥 Funding pharmacy services is helping improve access to and taking pressure of ERs in communities across Canada.

✅ Drug Use During Breastfeeding – now includes information on over 150 drugs, guidance on nonmedical drug use and new sections on COVID-19 treatments, medication abortion and alcohol use disorder.

✅ Pressure Injuries – updated to reflect current Canadian and international guidelines, with new info on treatment goals, infection risks and antibiotic resistance.
