Having the proper mindset is always important for overcoming your obstacles. When it comes to complex neurological disorders you have to be willing to make some big internal changes to allow yourself the ability to improve. It takes lots of work, and perseverance to allow your brain to make long lasting change.

Being specific with an examination can always be extremely helpful for individuals who have either suffered a head injury or any sort of neck/head trauma. Small details can be extremely helpful in determining the resulting mechanisms of the injury. Make sure you take note of those details and relay them on to your trusted healthcare providers.

Extremity injuries like a shoulder injury can be helped in so many different ways. I personally like to combine therapies with my patients depending on what kind of injury it is to try and make the biggest impact. When treating patients, its always important to be as specific as possible. Small details can make the difference between having a rehabilitation that is successful and one that’s not. When considering Carpal Tunnel syndrome typically only the red section is impacted, if the red and green area are giving sensory problems that indicates that the nerve entrapment is not at the wrist but higher up in the arm. Knowing this detail will tell a trained healthcare provider where they should focus their attention for rehabilitation.
