Dear Jockvale Massage & Physio clients,
It is with real sadness that I am announcing the permanent closing of our Clinic. Our exceptional team and I have been serving the Barrhaven community for over 20 years, and for the past 10 years from our current location. It’s been a pleasure to serve you and your families during all those years.

Some important dates:
Our final day to be open for treatments is Friday November 15, 2024.
The last date that we will be able to process direct-billing will be Saturday October 26, 2024.

We will work with you and your therapist over the coming weeks to ensure that your care continues. Our team are currently searching out referral opportunities at other local clinics. Your therapist or one of our front desk staff will reach out to you to discuss the options and your preferences.
Please rest assured that your patient records will be kept in our secure storage until you approve their transfer to a new clinic.

As we prepare to close our business, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank you for your loyalty and support throughout our journey. Your trust and partnership have meant a great deal to us. It has been a pleasure working with you, and I truly appreciate the opportunities we’ve shared.

We are looking for an energetic and personable candidate to cover specifically afternoon/ evening shifts on Tuesdays and Fridays. You will be welcoming our clients and fulfilling front desk responsibilities and providing support for our therapists. Our clinic has been established in the Barrhaven community since 2001, and we have been helping people of all ages recover from a range of injuries and conditions.
You will be providing customer service care to both clients and therapists in an environment that supports health and wellness approaches.
Some of the responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Handling the phone lines
- Accepting payments and filing direct billing
- Selling gift certificates
- Laundry and general housekeeping
- Covid-19 Screening (if mandates return)
- Promoting the business via social media
- Patient interaction
-Scheduling patient appointments
Are you able to:
- Communicate effectively and confidently with clients and staff
- Able to multitask
- Willing to do a variety of tasks
- Work well in a team environment
- Self motivated, energetic person
- Flexible availability
- Able to preform light lifting (15-20 pounds)
Do you have:
-Excellent computer skills
- Previous administrative experience (preferred)
- Previous experience working in a physiotherapy or massage therapy clinic considered an asset
- Previous experience working with motor vehicle accident claims considered an asset
Once training has been completed hours will be approx. 10- 15 hours to per week.
We welcome students and mature workers!
