Pope Leo XIV has called for a day of prayer and fasting for peace on Friday, August 22, the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary. He invites the faithful to unite in asking, through Mary, Queen of Peace, for justice, reconciliation, and a “disarmed and disarming peace” in every land scarred by war, especially the Holy Land and Ukraine.

On the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the US Supreme Court has voted to overturn the 1973 ruling of Roe vs Wade, 6-3. All praises to the Sacred and Merciful Heart of Christ!
