May is Foot Health Month, a perfect reminder of how essential it is to care for the foundation of your body — your feet! Regular visits to a podiatrist can prevent small issues from becoming major problems and help you stay active, mobile, and pain-free.

Behind every successful treatment is a strong team, and I’m incredibly grateful for my podiatry assistant, who supports both me and our patients every step of the way. She somehow manages to read my mind during busy clinic days — anticipating exactly what I need to give our patients the best care. (And yes, we occasionally show up in matching scrubs… totally unplanned!)

Every step matters—especially for those living with diabetes. I'm proud to work for Horizon Health a couple days a week. I work alongside an incredible team dedicated to preventing complications and saving limbs. Foot health is essential, and together we're making a difference one patient at a time.

Also, Happy Nurses Week to the best nurse I have the honour of working with. You are an essential member of our team—always going the extra mile not only for our patients but also in supporting me as a podiatrist. Your kindness, expertise, and dedication to quality care makes a true difference every day. Thank you for all that you do!
