Making learning fun isn’t just about planning activities that teach skills… it’s about connection. 🌿✨

It’s about getting to know each child, discovering what lights them up, and using those interests to guide how we teach. When kids feel seen, understood, and excited about what they’re learning, everything changes.

At our literacy enrichment program, we don’t just teach reading, we build relationships, spark curiosity, and create experiences that kids actually enjoy. Because when learning feels meaningful, it sticks. 💛📚

📚✨ Summer Literacy Enrichment Program ✨📚

Has your child been nominated by their school? We’re excited to support their learning this summer! Registration deadline for nominations: May 8th

Our Literacy Enrichment Program uses an evidence-based, multi-sensory approach to help children strengthen reading and writing skills in a fun, engaging, and confidence-building environment.

Designed for children who would benefit from extra literacy support
Individual, hands-on learning
Supportive, encouraging atmosphere

Spots may become available. If your child was not nominated but you’re interested, reach out to be added to our contact list for any unfilled spaces.

This summer, learning comes to life at The Woods 🌿📚

Our summer literacy enrichment program, offered by OELF and funded by NB SEED, uses an evidence-based, multisensory, play-based approach to help children grow their skills and confidence. Through hands-on exploration, we focus on phonics, reading fluency, and spelling, all while fostering a love of learning in a natural setting.

We are excited to work with School District ASD-S, for the second summer in a row, to help identify children who could benefit the most from this program. Registration is by school referral only. Families will be contacted directly if their child has been nominated to attend. If spots remain after initial nominations, we will offer remaining spots to current enrichment students and then to the public.

This is what happens when communities lead the way ✨
OELF is proud to be part of a movement that’s shifting how change is funded toward collaboration, trust, and real impact for families and children. Because when we invest in community, everything grows 🌱
Thank you for the opportunity and to all collaborators who came together for positive growth in our community 💚

Tales & Textures 🐛🍎
This week we wiggled, squished, and explored our way through The Very Hungry Caterpillar! From tiny eggs to big, beautiful butterflies, little hands brought the story to life through sensory play, vibrant textures, and LOTS of “snack time” fun 🍓🧁🍃
Watching the children connect story to experience is pure magic ✨

Tiny beginnings, big growth 🥹✨
Yesterday marked our final Tummy Time session with this sweet group, and wow… what a journey it’s been. From those first wobbly lifts to confident rolls, curious reaches, and growing personalities, the progress these little ones have made has truly been something special.
We’re a little teary saying goodbye, but so incredibly proud of every baby (and parent 💛) who showed up, practiced, and grew together each week.
Thank you for trusting us with these early moments, they matter more than you know.
Until next time, little movers 💫
