We were thrilled to sponsor last week's Atlantic Medical Student Research Conference (CARME/AMSRC) in Moncton, at theCentre de formation médicale du Nouveau-Brunswick (CFMNB).

Organized by students attending CFMNB, this student-led conference addresses the limited opportunities available for medical students in Atlantic Canada to present their research projects and findings. It facilitates connection, knowledge sharing and collaboration through lectures, workshops, and more.

🌟 Congratulations to the organizers, volunteers and attendees on a wonderful event!

All jokes aside, April 1 marks a major milestone for healthcare in New Brunswick.

A new four-year Physician Services Agreement in now in effect, representing a $270M investment in physician compensation, practice supports and resources like EMRs (electronic medical records). This will position the province as a premier and competitive environment for both practising and future doctors.

👏 Congratulations to the Government of New Brunswick and Médecins NB Docs on this important achievement.

We are now in a stronger position to recruit physicians, engage students and increase access to vital services for all New Brunswickers!

-
