Looking for something to do Saturday morning while our classes are off? Stop by to catch some heavy lifting!!

Lifting starts at 8:30am with a small Bench Only session.

3-Lift gets started at 9:10am, where you'll catch squat, bench, and deadlift.

Admission is free!

We're excited to welcome back the community and can't say thank you enough to our own members for filling so many of the volunteer roles needed (for a second year in a row).

💥We’re excited to announce that we will once again be offering two fall sessions for our middle school athletes:
    •    Session 1: Begins the week of September 15
    •    Session 2: Begins the week of November 3

❗️New for Fall 2025❗️ – Level II Training!

Thanks to the strong interest and continued participation in our ADP, we’re introducing a new Middle School Level II ADP for returning athletes who have already completed at least one season of Level I. This new level is designed to challenge athletes further by building on the foundational skills developed in Level I, using more advanced progressions and exercises.

❓Who should register for which level?
Level I: Ideal for new athletes or those who want to continue building a solid foundation.  Every athlete is welcome to stay at Level I
    •    Level II: For returning athletes ready to take the next step in their development. Level II is not mandatory.

🗓️Schedule for fall session 1:
    •    Level I: Mondays & Wednesdays, 3:15–4:05 PM
    •    Level II: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 3:15–4:05 PM

We’re looking forward to another great season of training and development!

💪🏻Our 2nd Powerlifting Meet hosted by ForFitness is scheduled for Friday August 15 to Saturday August 16th.
➡️The Gym will be closed to all members From Friday Friday Aug 15 to Saturday Aug 16 @ 2pm.
❗️The Sauna only will be open Friday Evening only to members in this time. ❗️
All classes and group training will be cancelled during this period as well.

⁉️What is Tai Chi?
Tai Chi Chuan is a unique, centuries-old Chinese exercise that integrates into one system elements for health improvement, a moving meditation and a martial art. Based on a sequence of 108 slow naturally flowing movements, the Tai Chi set is ideal for all ages and abilities. It is designed to relax the body and mind, to improve concentration, and to develop flexibility and strength. The gradual stretching and slow turning motions involved in the movements results in: a loosening of the joints and tendons; facilitates natural movement in the spine by relaxing points of tension in the body; and allows the free circulation of the internal energies (jing, chi and shen). Tai chi can assist in the integration of the mind and body, leading toward harmony between ourselves and the universe.

There are a lot of things we love about our jobs here at ForFitness, where we have individuals of all ages at all different levels and a wide variety of goals who make up our community.

Today we’re highlighting the privilege we have to work with student-athletes. Development takes time, and we have the privilege to see them learn and grow, both in the gym with strength, power, and speed, but also in their confidence, dedication, and leadership.

In some cases, we have had athletes start training with us in middle school (and a few even before). They run over after school to meet up with a friend, join a training group, or grab their program, and get to their training in a small group, coached session, or independently. Jump forward seven years later and they are graduating high school and moving on to the next phase of life.

We get to cheer them on when they make the team, and also help support and navigate during the tougher times when things don’t go as planned or hoped. And because we’ve been doing this for a while now, we have generations where young kids get to see the high school star training at the same gym, high school kids get to see the university athletes home and training over the summer, along with those playing on Provincial Teams, Canada Games, National Teams, and professionally.
