I ran today in a sports bra and this is something I never do. I never do this because I’m scared someone will see my gut hanging out and judge me. I ran today in my sports bra not because I’m so super confident in my six pack actually quite the opposite with my gut right now since I’m on my period and did 5 rep max squat day yesterday so my core is actually quite tired. I did it because I was hot af and how I felt this morning mattered more than the thoughts of someone driving by

Give yourself some grace!
I had a reminder to treat myself as a would a patient and give myself the grace that I would for a client. So this mornings workout I did in the clothes that I slept in which weren’t pjs because last night I didn’t have the energy to change into pjs. When I got to 2 mins the first round I had just finished the workout and would have no time to rest so I let myself rest a little before starting the next one. And I ran out of time only doing 7 rounds which perfectionist me normally would push myself to compete what I start and do 10 then having to rush the rest of my day. So today I got stronger not just physically but mentally as I allowed myself some grace and let go of perfection.
