The day has finally come, after almost 9 years of both Birth and Postpartum Doula work, Lamaze Group Classes, Newborn Nutrition 101 and witnessing over 300 Beautiful Births .mother is closing its doors as of September 2024 ❤️ (For Now)

It is finally my time to take up motherhood to not One but Two Souls. To my beloved clients, mentors, friends and colleagues, I am eternally grateful to you ❤️ This has never felt like work but always passion, servitude and women’s work ❤️

Rising Mother will evolve, I love the world of Pregnancy, Birth, Fertility and Postpartum far too much to say goodbye forever but for now I am still accepting clients until September 2024. As always, you are loved ❤️

Rising Mother is moving! Our time in B.C. Canada has been incredibly beautiful, memorable, informative and an astounding experience. We are so excited to be setting up shop in Saint John, New Brunswick! Rising Mother will be servicing Saint John, Fredericton, Moncton and Surrounding areas as of July 1st, 2023! ❤️

Effective today...

Effective April 6, 2023, the B.C. provincial health officer and the B.C. Ministry of Health has lifted most of the visiting restrictions for health-care settings.

KEY CHANGES FOR YOU TO BE AWARE OF

• Visitors will no longer be required to provide their vaccination status, and those who are unvaccinated for COVID-19 will be able to visit freely at health-care settings

• Visitors will not be required to wear masks while visiting health-care settings, unless specifically required based on a point of care risk assessment (assessment by a health-care worker that masking is required based on the risks of infection)

• Active screening of visitors is no longer required

• Being able to see the faces of your entire birth team!! ❤️

Provincial restrictions are made by the Provincial Health Officer (PHO) under the Public Health Act.

Welcoming in the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year and the longest night. At this time, many cultures believe that the archetypal Great Mother gave birth to a sun child, marking the astrological kickoff of the season when the sun hangs its lowest in the sky and daylight is at its shortest. This is a moment to hold the light for yourself and others and take a deep breath as we enter this time of the winter solstice.

Winter is the time to...
• Slow down, reflect and start this year from the inside out.
• Acknowledge where this past year has led you.
• Ask yourself what you really want to call into your life.
• Get in touch with your emotions by listening to music that brings in deeper emotions.
• Drink hot tea in bed.
• Make your home into a sweet spiritual sanctuary.
• Keep your inner world bright, no matter how harsh your outer one gets.
• Eat seasonal, warming, and grounding foods.
• Light candles, burn sage and journal your intentions.

The winter solstice—the darkest day of the year—is an opportunity to connect to your light and share it with others. Let it be a reminder of your commitment to grow and evolve this year.
