Our resident Masters student has been involved with Makers Making Change this summer where we look for ways to help people in need of adaptive solutions with unique 3D Printing projects.

This is a custom cup holder that clips onto our friend’s wheelchair to hold his favourite cup. He even helped design it. It turned out great and our friend was a happy camper!

We were so happy to attend the New Brunswick Extra Mural Program Provincial Physiotherapy Meeting. We had the opportunity to discuss the scope of our practice and our goal in promoting community education in regard to diabetic foot care with our fellow allied health clinicians. (And show off a bit of 3D printing fun!) It’s so encouraging to see dedicated professionals come together for the betterment of healthcare and rehab for New Brunswickers!
