💡 Children with autism may seem to “ignore” peers or siblings, but it’s often linked to attention, sensory, or communication challenges—not disinterest.

Start small: invite siblings into activities your child already enjoys. For example, building towers side by side or coloring at the same table. Over time, add turn-taking games and visual supports to clarify expectations.

🌟Celebrate even the tiniest steps—like handing over a block. Those small wins create the foundation for stronger relationships.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist and co-founder of NeuroAI, I’ve spent over 35 years working alongside families, clinicians, and educators to support neurodiverse children.

I’d love to invite you to our upcoming Demo Day on November 27 — a free virtual event where we’ll be sharing how BRIDGES Engage is helping families access meaningful, evidence-based support beyond the waitlists.

Whether you're a parent, caregiver, clinician, or simply curious about how AI and clinical expertise can work together to offer real care — this session is for you. I hope you can join us! 💚

🌿 Margaret isn’t one person—she represents thousands.

Across generations, countless adults have lived entire lives without knowing they are autistic. Misunderstood, unsupported, and unseen.

In her new article, Dr. Sharon Gainforth sheds light on The Overlooked Generation—older adults who went undiagnosed for decades, and why a late autism diagnosis still matters for health, connection, and dignity.

🧠 Because autism is lifelong—and awareness should be too.

💚 You don’t need to have it all together to be the parent your child needs.

Let go of the pressure to be perfect. Focus on being present—in the small moments, the tough ones, the quiet ones.

Your calm, your attention, your love… that’s what truly matters.

🌟Play doesn’t have to look “typical” to be valuable. For a child with autism, connection often begins with shared moments inside their deep interests.

Tip: Join your child in what they love—even if it’s lining up toy cars or repeating a favorite song. Narrate what’s happening and match their pace.

When we follow their lead, we show that their joy matters—and that’s where trust begins.
