New at our clinic: Guasha Therapy
Experience Guasha Therapy, a technique that combines "Gua," meaning to scrape or rub, with "Sha," the reddish patches that appear on the skin as circulation improves. During a session, our practitioner applies precise pressure on specific body areas or trigger points using tools or hand manipulation. This method targets hypertonicity in soft tissue and helps reduce toxin build-up.
Biomedical studies show Guasha Therapy can stimulate peripheral nerves, improve blood and lymph flow, speed up metabolism, promote nutrient supply, and enhance the body's defenses. This improves the state and function of the soft tissue in the treated area.
Our registered massage therapist and acupuncturist, Matt Wills, can incorporate Guasha into massage or acupuncture treatments. Call us at (506) 674-4221, Facebook message us, or send us an email at cgacmassage@gmail.com to book.
