“Healing doesn’t happen in isolation. We need connection, support, and compassion to thrive.”
About Me:
I am a trauma-informed, person-centred Licensed Counselling Therapist-C. My focus is on building strong therapeutic relationships in which my clients feel safe exploring difficult topics in support of self-discovery and their definition of mental wellbeing.
I am also a certified nutritional practitioner (2013) and yoga teacher (2014), which has deepened my awareness of the importance of a holistic view of mental and physical health. My approach to counselling is based on the belief that my clients have an innate wisdom and understanding that can help guide them on their path to balance and healing. Self-compassion, empathy, empowerment, and understanding have underpinned my coaching work for over a decade and I have brought these skills into my work as a therapist. Therapy should not be something you dread, but a space that allows you to come into your fullest expression of self.

Why Clients Work With Me:
My clients share that they look forward to our sessions because they know that they can show up as their most authentic selves, even sharing with me the parts they keep hidden from everyone else in their lives. They appreciate that I create a non-judgmental space for them to explore their issues and concerns in a way that invites new insights, perspectives, and ways forward.
Many of my clients enjoy the reconnection they establish between their minds and bodies through the processing of stuck emotions and sensations through ART and other somatic experiences. Our sessions contain deep work, but there is also a space for lightness, fun, and celebrating the strengths and wins they collect along the way!
Things I like to do in my spare time:
When I’m not working you’ll find me at the yoga studio, embracing my nerdy competitiveness at trivia, walking in the woods, buried in a book, dancing to live music, snuggling with my kitties (Thackerey Binx, Mr. Muggins, & Crispy Potato), rewatching LOTR for the thousandth time, or testing out new recipes while listening to true crime and psychology podcasts.
