This is my favourite flower- Wisteria. For 10 years I have been yearning for my wisteria to bloom and this year it finally happened. Wisteria is also highly scented and I wonder why it hasn’t been used widely as perfume or candles 🤔 planted in Japanese handmade pot by Koyo.

a great sleepy time herbal recipe!

To celebrate , I’m sharing my Slumber Elixir for those who may need some help getting the restorative sleep we all require. While there are plenty of things we can be doing to ensure we’re getting the proper rest we need - daily exercise, eating light and well-balanced meals in the evening, and limiting screen time two hours before bed - there can still be blocks between you and restful slumber, especially as we continue to endure stressful times.

So I’m sharing this tried-and-trusted, all-natural, herbal recipe for my personal T’s Slumber Elixir. I’ve been making this recipe for well over 20 years and find that it works best when taken consistently for at least 10-12 days. This elixir can be an excellent and safe herbal remedy for those looking for a helping hand getting their sleep; the combo of valerian and hops has been shown to improve sleep in adults, while valerian and lemon balm was effective for children under the age of 12.

*This elixir is designed to help you sleep. Do not take if you are going to be driving or doing other things that require your attention. Don’t mix herbal sedatives with prescription sleeping pills. Women who are pregnant or breast-feeding should not use this elixir.
