As many of you have noticed, our beloved Historic Sharp's sign suffered a significant amount of damage last fall. Following a thorough and very emotional journey of trying to have the original sign repaired, we came to the stark realization- the sign needed to come down. We then embarked on a new journey with Hansen Signs of Moncton, to have a replica created. Hansen signs have assisted us with repairs in the past; they more than understood the importance and significance of this to us. Their team shared our passion and attachment to the sign. They were committed to designing and delivering a replica of which we all could be proud ; one that will see us continue into the next era, creating more photographs, more paintings, more memories. ❤️
Spanning decades, the iconic neon "SHARP'S DRUGS” sign has been the subject of numerous photographs, paintings and many a conversation, for locals and tourists alike.
( Imagine if signs could talk, the stories it could tell!!)

For those of you who have photographs, pictures, stories and/or memories of the original neon sign, we would absolutely love to have you share them with us here on this page. We have made a home for the original sign in the front room of the store (alongside many interesting historical pieces of Sharp's Drug Store's past), in hopes that someday, somehow it can be restored.
