Meet Baxter 💙

Baxter is a 7-year-old male neutered Yorkshire Terrier who came to us after an acute onset of progressive hind limb paralysis. Since then, he’s been on an incredible journey of strength, resilience, and determination.

For the past 7 weeks, Baxter has been working closely with Dr. Colwell, receiving veterinary spinal manipulation therapy and acupuncture as part of his treatment plan. Despite being paraplegic, Baxter continues to show us just how adaptable and spirited dogs can be.

From learning new ways to move, to embracing life on wheels, Baxter’s journey is a powerful reminder that mobility challenges don’t define quality of life—and that every small win is worth celebrating. 🌟
