Hungary has rolled out solar heated tunnel shelters designed to protect stray and homeless dogs during harsh winter weather. The structures collect heat from sunlight during the day and keep it trapped overnight, offering warmth and shelter when temperatures drop below freezing.

Animal welfare organizations say these tunnels are already making a real difference. By reducing the risk of hypothermia, the shelters give vulnerable dogs a safer place to rest and a better chance of surviving extreme cold conditions.

Winter is coming, and with it, snow-covered sidewalks and driveways! We're calling on all caring, community-minded individuals to become Snow Stars — volunteers who help clear snow for seniors, people with disabilities, and neighbors in need.

❄️Who Can Join?
• Individuals, families, or groups
• Youth aged 14+ (with parental permission)
• Anyone with a shovel and a warm heart!

❄️How It Works:
• We'll match you with a resident in your neighborhood
• After each snowfall, you’ll help clear their sidewalk/driveway
• Flexible scheduling — help when you’re available!

Finally found a good hormone therapy regimen!

The round tablet is 100mg of progesterone (to be taken for two weeks then not for two weeks), the foil packet is .25mg of estradiol (Divigel brand) to be applied every day and the blue tube is 10mcg's of vaginal estrogen (Vagifem brand) to be inserted twice a week.

Yes, it's a lot. Yes it can be confusing. Yes it's important to find a way to remember what to do when that works for you.

Someone asked me the other day what sort of differences I've noticed since starting this regimen and it was hard to put into words. I said I just felt like myself again. Then when I thought about it I realized how much better my sleep has been, less interrupted sleeps, more sleeping through the night/able to fall back asleep quickly if I do wake up, motivation is slowly creeping back in, mood is a bit lighter but not perfect, so yeah, I feel like myself again in many ways.

I am so grateful to be seeing so many benefits from it already - I've only done one two week cycle on progesterone and one week off at this point and have been using the estradiol gel for 4 weeks. At the lowest doses.
