How lovely 🥰

What started as a simple idea, an outdoor yoga session on a Saturday morning, turned into something much more meaningful for the Bathgate community this weekend.

Hosted by Butterfly Yoga in support of West Lothian 50+ Network, the session saw over 50 people of all ages gather at the Archery Field behind Xcite Bathgate. There were toddlers copying poses beside their grans, mums and dads stretching beside teenagers, and long-time Network members sharing a laugh with first-time yogis.

🌞🧘‍♀️Who is up for YOGA IN THE PARK this SUMMER??🧘‍♀️🌞

Please join us for a morning of gentle summer yoga suitable for the whole family.
This wee outside practice will be full of joy love and fun to connect us all together💖 and with the lovely Scottish summer😜 ( bring a rain jacket just in case!🌧️)

We are running this practice free of charge but would love if you would kindly donate to the amazing West Lothian 50+ Network Charity ( more details below) West Lothian 50 Plus Network

All you need to do it bring a mat or towel, some family or friends, a bit of spare change and an open heart to spend a morning feeling amazing in the beautiful outdoors.

Yoga practice details:
🌞 Location - Balbardie park - at Xcite Bathgate end - in the Archery field just behind the football cages.
🌞 Date - 26 JULY 10.30-11.30
🌞 Duration - 45 min of outside yoga , 15 mins for cakes etc...
🌞 Suitable for all the family - only gentle fun not bendy pretzel yoga!
🌞 Bring a yoga mat or a towel
🌞 Water and cakes for sale, potentially a raffle too !!

The West Lothian 50 Plus Network ( https://westlothian50plusnetwork.co.uk/)is an amazing charity offering many many free/low cost groups and gatherings for the West Lothian over 50's. There offer loads of options including coffee chats, yoga , crafting, art workshops, choirs and trips away to all sorts of places. Like so many charities they are non profit and so need to top up their funds by offering art sales and quiz nights and now OUTSIDE YOGA to help run all these essential spaces for folk to meet, connect, blether learn new skills and enhance lives all round!!
We would LOVE if you would be able to join the WL 50+ yogis in celebrating summer, yoga and life in general with this first time for us outside yoga practice - WHO KNOWS WHAT WILL HAPPEN !!!

We're excited to launch our brand new Chair Yoga class – a gentle, welcoming way to stay active and improve flexibility, balance and wellbeing.

🌞CLASSES BACK MON 16th JUNE !!!🌞

Sooooo looking forward to sharing some much needed yoga with you all after a very hot ( and expensive!) holiday in Dubrovnik. It was so beautiful and full of history and beautiful souls ( not to mention the food and wine of which I consumed a lot!!!😎)

🌞Please remember to book into classes as soon as you can
We are getting into the holiday season and I may cancel classes if numbers are too low it really helps to know the class numbers as much in advance as you can!

🌞The studio always welcomes new yogis through its doors so if you are new to yoga or just curious about practicing in the studio please come and join a class! The first one is free!!!!
