POSTAL STRIKES + CONTACT LENS DELIVERIES

As you're probably aware Royal Mail workers are planning further strike action throughout December. Please try not to be caught out with no contact lenses over the festive season.

If you need any in the next few weeks, it is recommend ordering them from your optical practice if that is possible.

Busy independent family run practice. Previous experience beneficial but not essential.

4 to 5 days per week Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Very occasional Saturday Morning.

During the current lock down restrictions Ferguson Optometry remains open and available for all you eyecare needs. To book in call 01506631656. Under Scottish Government guidelines you are allowed to travel for healthcare appointments.
We are running a locked door policy to limit the number of people in the practice.
All staff will be wearing appropriate PPE.
When attending for your appointment please wear a mask and do not wear gloves to come in to the practice. We have hand sanitiser available for you to use on entry and exit for everyones safety.

Hi everyone

Ferguson Optometry will be back to offering Free NHS Routine eye examinations as of Monday 3rd August. To book call us on 01506 631656.
We look forward to seeing you all soon.
Full appropriate PPE will be worn by all staff.
When attending for your examination please bring a mask and don't wear gloves to come in to the practice. We have hand sanitiser for you to use on entry and exit for your safety and ours.

Hi Everyone

As eye care enters Phase 2 tomorrow we are looking forward to being able to see you face to face for emergency and essential eye care as appropriate. If your need is non urgent or routine we ask that you wait until Phase 3.

If you have any Coronavirus symptoms or anyone in your household has then please do not attend the practice and contact us to change your appointment.

We shall be performing telephone triage prior to anyone attending the practice and will be operating on a strictly appointment only basis. There will be no walk-in appointments available.

Staff will be wearing all required PPE.

Appointment times have been extended to allow for social distancing and sanitising of the practice between patients.

If possible please attend on your own to minimise the number of people in the practice.

The main thing we ask is that where possible you wear a face covering to all appointments. Hand sanitiser is available on the desk to sanitise your hands on entering the practice.

We look forward to welcoming you all back in the near future. Take care and stay safe.
