🅰️➡️🆉 A–Z Fun in Olive Grove! 🎉

Residents had such a great time playing the A–Z game! Together, they picked topics like food, animals, and places, then took turns going through the alphabet to see who could come up with the next word.

There were plenty of laughs (especially when we got to the tricky letters like X and Z 😅) and lots of wonderful conversations sparked along the way.

Simple games like this bring so much joy, help keep our minds active, and give everyone a chance to share their own stories and ideas. 💬❤️

🍷🧀 Yesterday afternoon was filled with laughter, good company, and the perfect pairing of cheese and wine! Our residents enjoyed a delightful time together, sharing stories, savoring delicious flavors, and simply enjoying each other’s presence. 💕

Residents have been making the most of the sunshine, enjoying their morning coffee out in the garden. 🌸🪴

With birds singing and flowers in bloom, it’s the perfect way to start the day, relaxing, chatting, and soaking up the fresh air together. 💛

These simple moments mean so much, and we’re so glad to share them in such a lovely setting. 🌞✨

✏️📚 Back to School – With a Twist! 📚✏️

Today, Tina took our residents on a delightful trip down memory lane, back to their old school days! We shared stories about classrooms, chalkboards, and the way school life has changed over the years.

From favorite subjects to mischievous playground adventures, the laughter was contagious! And just for fun… we even took a little mathematics test. Let’s just say some of us discovered we might need a refresher course! 😉

🕰 A Step Back in Time 🕰

Residents took a fascinating trip down memory lane as we gathered to explore some truly incredible objects from the past!

Among the treasures shared were:
🍫 A 123-year-old chocolate bar still in its original tin – a real relic from another time!
🚂 A WWI railway lamp, shining a light on stories from over a century ago.
⚰️ A Death Penny – a solemn and moving token given to the next of kin of fallen soldiers.
👮‍♂️ And an old policeman’s whistle, once used to keep the peace on the streets.

These objects sparked meaningful memories, thoughtful conversations, and lots of curiosity. It was a powerful reminder of how history lives on through the stories we share.

Not one, but TWO birthdays to celebrate — both Ron and John marked another trip around the sun surrounded by family, good food, and great celebrations.
So much laughter, love, and cake to go around — feeling incredibly grateful for these special moments. ❤️🎈

What an incredible day! Today we cleaned loads of cars and were blown away by the amazing support from our local community. Thanks to everyone who stopped by, donated, or helped out — we couldn’t have done it without you! 💙

We’re thrilled to share that we raised a fantastic £225.14 for SNAP Charity Brentwood, supporting families with children and young people who have additional needs.
