Situated in a pleasant residential area, Brentwood Care Centre is purpose-built and carefully designed to support our residents to live happy, fulfilled and comfortable lives. Our team cares for our residents with the same kindness and warmth shown to members of their own family. Working closely together, they provide residential dementia care, nursing care and end of life care. Located over three floors, our home includes light and airy, open plan lounges/diners as well as spacious en-suite bedrooms, and a variety of communal spaces such as a cinema room, quiet room and a hair salon. Our landscaped gardens are wheelchair accessible and designed to be a welcoming place for people to relax on one of the patios.

Residents recently enjoyed looking back at photos of famous singers in their younger years and reminiscing about the iconic songs that made them stars. From classic hits to unforgettable voices, it was a wonderful afternoon filled with stories, laughter, and nostalgia. 💛📸

✨ Community Winter Wellness Day at Hutton Community Centre! ❄️

Today we spent a lovely morning at the Community Winter Wellness Day at Hutton Community Centre. We served up tasty samples of our bolognaise, mixed bean & vegetable stew with herb dumplings, and a warming red lentil & tomato soup. 🍲💛

It was fantastic connecting with local residents, sharing good food, and being part of such a positive community event. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, we had a great time supporting our community!

Residents had a fantastic time getting stuck into some fun and friendly word games! From anagrams to quick-fire word challenges, the room was full of laughter, concentration… and a few brilliant “aha!” moments.

We Have a Winner! 🎄

This year residents sent many entries to the annual Christmas Card Competition, the creativity and festive spirit in every design was absolutely incredible! Our Senior Team had the tough job of choosing a winner, and they were blown away by the fantastic entries.

✨ We’re excited to announce that this year’s winning design was created by our very own Ian! ✨

Ian’s beautiful hand-drawn artwork truly captured the magic of the season and stood out to the entire judging panel. We’re so proud to have his design represent us this Christmas.

📬 Ian’s festive creation will now become the RCH official 2025 Christmas card, with copies being sent to each of our homes.

🌺 Honouring Remembrance Day Together 🌺

This week, our residents enjoyed a very special Remembrance show, filled with meaningful moments, music, and shared memories. It was a touching tribute and a chance for everyone to come together in reflection and gratitude. ❤️

We were also proud to display our residents’ beautiful handmade crafts, created with so much care and remembrance in mind. Their creativity and dedication made the day even more special. 🌟
