The team attended the gala with an incredible nine finalists, and we're delighted to share the amazing results:

RCH Care Homes marked Remembrance with a series of thoughtful events that brought residents, teams, and communities together.
Homes welcomed the Royal British Legion for beautiful services, and many residents attended local memorials to pay their respects.

Inside the homes, residents created stunning poppy-themed art, enjoyed baking activities, and shared stories and memories in peaceful reflection.

Thank you to everyone who helped make these commemorations so special.

This recognition reflects the passion, dedication and excellence shown every day in providing compassionate, person-centred care.

Brentwood Care Centre was proud to take part in the Winter Wellness Day organised by Brentwood Borough Council — a fantastic community event promoting health, warmth, and wellbeing during the colder months.

Our Executive Chef Oliver Clothier prepared and shared a selection of nutritious dishes, including half-and-half Quorn and mince spaghetti bolognaise and a hearty butter bean, bacon, and tomato stew. Visitors also enjoyed a free lunch of butternut squash and parsnip soup with warm bread rolls.

Alongside the food, Oliver shared practical nutrition tips for the winter months — from cooking for one to batch cooking — while Rhiannon McNeill, Customer Relations Manager, engaged with visitors and supported the event.

💙 A huge thank you to Brentwood Borough Council for inviting Brentwood Care Centre to be part of such an inspiring day!

💧 Supporting Resident Wellbeing with WaterADE! 💧

At RCH Care Homes, we’re always looking for new ways to enhance resident health and happiness.

We’re delighted to be working with WaterADE , a refreshing vitamin drink that’s packed with goodness — including vitamins A, C, D, and E to help support immune, skin, and bone health.

Following a successful introduction at Orchard House Care Home , residents have loved the colourful presentation and wide choice of flavours — from peach and pineapple to blackcurrant and lemon.

Last night’s England vs Wales match was more than just a game — the partnership between Alzheimer's Society and The FA, and the involvement of the mascots, brought a deeply meaningful spotlight to dementia awareness.

For everyone living with dementia, for the families and carers, and for those whose lives have been touched by this condition, the evening was powerful — whether you were in the stadium or watching from home.

At RCH Care Homes, we know how vital awareness and compassion are. Partnerships like this help break down stigma, spark conversation, and remind us all that behind every statistic is a person with a story.

A heartfelt thank you to Alzheimer’s Society, the FA, and everyone who made last night possible. Let’s keep the momentum going — together we can build a world of understanding, dignity, and care.
