10 back pain thoughts:
1. Resting for days will make your pain worse
2. Not sleeping enough will slow recovery and exacerbate pain
3. Saying āyou donāt have timeā to do what you know you should, but yet youāre sat here scrolling social media
4. Putting down your phone and going for a walk at lunch will make you feel better in more ways than one. Movement is medicine for your back š
5. The impact of slight improvements to your lifestyle habits such as exercise, hydration, sleep, nutrition and mental health, is massive
6. Making other people responsible for curing your pain, rather than taking responsibility, will keep you in pain
7. Believing your back is fragile and exercise will damage it will make your pain and quality of life worse. Pain messages do not typically mean harm.
8. Saying you ātried it and it didnāt workā, when you did something inconsistently for a few weeks, does not count as ātrying itā
9. Find some time for you every day, you canāt look after anyone else, if you canāt look after you
