Lots of us struggle with this, but movement is sooo important. For our physically health but we know now also hugely impactful on our mental health too 🧠

Movement 🚶‍♂️‍➡️releases “feel-good” hormones like endorphins and serotonin, whilst also reducing stress hormones. These chemical changes can improve your mood, decrease feelings of stress and anxiety, and boost overall well-being. This also play a role in brain health and stress resilience 💪

Moving every 30 minutes would be ideal. But adding any small movement through your day will be hugely beneficial.

Intentionally parking the car side of the car park
Take the stairs instead of the lift
Add a lunchtime walk into your day

When we get a review like this it reminds us how lucky we are to call this our job!

My journey with chiropractic started at 11 after my baby sister had an injury and drastically changed into a highly uncomfortable, unhappy baby. I saw first hand how gentle chiropractic adjustment can be so powerful, especially in babies. And how the relief not only helped her but affected our entire family.

What a blessing to now be able to impact other families with chiropractic; allowing a happier, healthier life.

Lots of interest and conversations about our new poster 🥤🧃🥛🧋

Have you spotted it in the window?

Thinking about what we’re putting into our body is so important. Whether it’s food or drink. And the key is knowing more about what’s in the products we’re consuming. In a world where the majority of our supermarket products are processed foods it’s difficult to make good choice surrounded by yummy alternatives.

This poster is not about making you feel bad, but more encouraging you to be more mindful and have conversations particularly with your children. Are some sugars better than others and is “no added sugar” all its cracked up to be?

Is our food nourishing us? How regularly do we consume these sorts of drinks/food? How do different foods and drinks fuel us? Are we consuming whole foods or processed foods? Does marketing and product branding influence our choices?

This year Olive chiropractic wants to help you ensure your child’s spine health is in tip top condition.
We are running a back to school event on Thursday August 28th in the practice.
We are offering free spine health checks to children. Whether you need advice on backpacks, posture, footwear or sports injuries, the team will be able to advise.
There will be games, snacks & information in the practice, so please message or with the team to book your child in.

I’ve been a loyal patient of Stuart for a long time and there’s a good reason I keep coming back.
As someone who plays a lot of sport, my body takes a real beating - those little aches, pains, tweaks and clicks that gradually turn into painful, misaligned joints that leave me hobbling around.
But here’s the thing: I can walk into Olive’s clinic barely able to move properly and walk out feeling like I am in my teens again!!!
