Our ‘open’ First Aid training courses are ideal for small businesses or community groups looking to secure first aid training for just one or two people.

😯 We recently delivered a course at Aldermaston Atomic Weapons Establishment.

🤔 Did we cover radiation burns? Gamma rays? Hazardous materials? Terrorist attacks?

❗️ No - just a normal first aid course for the team at the Social and Sports Club. There’s a great bar and loads of sports facilities, and everyone , everywhere needs first aid!

Very interactive and we were never made to feel as if any question was a stupid question.

🚨 EYFS Guidance Changes 🚨

ALL STAFF who have obtained a Level 2 and/or Level 3 qualification since 30 June 2016 must also hold a valid Paediatric First Aid qualification to be included in the required staff:child ratios. 😯

Have you checked that all your staff first certificates are up to date? 🤔

Has your setting trained all staff ready for these changes? 🤔

The wording of the paediatric first aid (PFA) requirement in the group and school-based provider version of the EYFS has been amended this January to make it explicit that now ALL STAFF who have obtained a Level 2 and/or Level 3 qualification since 30 June 2016 must also hold a valid PFA qualification to be included in the required staff:child ratios.
