Happy 2026 folks!
Time to invite in some goodness for the New Year ahead.

Your body is your nearest environment so focussing on creating the type of environment you want to live in is never time wasted.

I spent my first day of 2026 on the top of this mountain, Pen Y Fan, in South Wales. Many other times I've spent them hungover after much partying. Both are valid and both have brought me much joy!

We choose our paths but they can also always change, no one is fixed in their identity and New Year is a great time to explore this. It's not about shedding the old and becoming some unrecognisable 'new' thing. It's about embracing all sides of ourselves and realising that we are more than the sum of our parts. Much much more.

So come and commit to a Yoga practice this coming year and see where it takes you.

Lift your heart up send your roots down! Use your practice to move things through you, be that a stuck thought, a rumination, an emotion or even your digestion! When we feel stuck somehow a simple bit of movement can uncover a fresh perspective. I love using inversions to stimulate my mind and clear the fog or stickiness! (An inversion is a posture where your heart is positioned above your head) Down dog is an inversion as is bridge and this is my variation on it this week :) What’s the inversion that gives you a fresh perspective?

on Tuesdays and Thursdays 12.30 lunchtime flow
Wednesdays 6.30pm Beginners and 8pm Mixed Vinyasa and Thursdays 9am Flow.

September's round the corner and Yoga is back from it's sleepy, and for some non existent summer time!
Feeling a bit stiff and tweaky?
Feeling distracted and lacking a clear mind?
Breath a bit short?
Sleep not the best?
Looking for a quiet, calm space?
Believe it or not all these things can be challenged through a regular yoga practice at the right level for you.

No you don't have to be able to twist yourself into a crazy impossible shape, no you don't have to be able to touch your toes, wear all Sweaty betty or be in a small body without injuries.

Come as you are and start from there. You might be surprised where you end up :)

Fab yoga session this morning under the trees at Postlip Hall! Some of these people have been practising with me for four years now, they keep turning up and giving their energy and focus to their practice - either that or they just come for the brownies!

I have added a new class to my weekly time table! Starting this week I teach two lunchtime vinyasa flow classes, one on Tuesday at 12.30 and another on a Thursday.
So if you need a lunchtime boost, a little pick me up, a break from the office, or you’d just really like to see my face, well I would definitely like to see yours!
Theme this week is abundance. Realising that mostly what we need is already inside all of us - we are enough :))

Is this your image of Outdoor Yoga?! Well sorry to disappoint but it's a little more clothed, and I probably won't be wearing a white gown, more likely leggings, but there will be grass, and trees and peace and connection with nature....
At Postlip Hall there is a lovely secluded flat lawn right next to the woods and that's where I'm inviting you to come and lay down your mat ,and your head, and breathe out any tension to the Spring air around you :)
Sound good?

So come on and book on to my first outdoor session @9.30am on 17th May then!
