Regularly working with your fascia can help you feel, move, relax, sleep better, and promote your overall health. ‘Learn to self-treat like a Pro’ Alex received certification from Myofascial Release UK in Integrated Myofascial Release, Advanced Myofascial Release, and Self-Myofascial Release Therapy. She is a highly recommended and insightful MFR practitioner, mentor, and coach. Alex holds a bache

lor’s degree (2012) in Health Sciences, specialising in Remedial Massage & Neuromuscular Therapy. Her busy private practice is at Cheltenham Holistic Health Centre, where she uses her specialist training in Integrated Myofascial Release and other soft tissue techniques. She helps individuals with symptoms like stress, chronic fatigue, pain, sleep disturbances, anxiety, hormone imbalances, stiffness, and restrictions related to and caused by many different health conditions. Alex blends all her skills, knowledge, and experience to provide you with the most comprehensive treatment and care possible. For over fifteen years, she has supported countless individuals in improving their lives by enhancing their mobility and emotional and physical wellbeing. For maintenance and to progress quicker or to self-treat, Alex offers Self-Myofascial Release Therapy sessions at The Isbourne Wellbeing Centre and online. Alex is skilled with a mindful, nurturing, and intuitive touch. She is insured through Balens and is a Gold member of the SMA.

That’s our last Self-Myofascial Release Therapy class done today before our summer break.

We’ll restart with a four-week course on the first Tuesday in September (9.30-10.30 am). Five sign-ups have already taken already, with only three spaces left!

Just back from an incredible Pelvic Health course at Holisticare, led by Ruth Duncan from In-Touch Education = Myofascial Release UK and MFR therapist and pelvic health specialist physiotherapist Yvonne Brannigan. The course was a treasure trove of knowledge and techniques, and I can't wait to share!

We learned some fantastic, gentle, and powerful techniques to help with prolapse, leakage, pelvic pain, and tightness. The course was a complete eye-opener. I had been hesitant to sign up (I was scared because of all the issues I had and didn't want anyone to go 'down there'), but the last available place kept staring in my face, and boy, am I glad I found the courage to go. Receiving and practising in such a supportive and respectful environment, I felt completely safe. Normalising the 'weird' stuff!

Now, I'm looking for some special volunteers to help me practice the techniques I've learned and continue honing my skills. If you're up for it, I'd really appreciate your support. I promise you won't regret it. Feel free to DM me!

Self-Myofascial Release Therapy classes are filling the gap between yoga and the gym. I teach you how to treat yourself. Whether you are experiencing pain, stiffness, headaches, sports injuries, or stress, the classes can help you speed up your recovery and improve your health.

During the classes, I teach you techniques and how to use the tools to help you get and feel better. The experience is deep and profound, soft and gentle, and yes, you may feel a little sore afterwards, as if you've done a workout. It's your body adjusting and resetting.

We use the tools and techniques to work through your body's restrictions in a focused and attentive way. If you want to try the class, you can borrow the tools; just let me know!
