Warmth on Prescription returns this winter. The scheme offers help to pay fuel bills and can support patients with respiratory, cardiovascular or complex needs.

A representative from Seven Wye Energy Agency will complete a home visit, give the resident/s energy-saving advice, and look at their energy meters and bills.

Severn Wye will complete a cost calculator of the heating costs and provide payment of up to £500 per referee towards their heating costs. This payment can be made directly to the energy provider or via fuel vouchers if the referee is on a prepayment meter. Nailsworth Alzheimer's Cafe has changed its name to the Stroud Alzheimer's Cafe. It takes place regularly on the last Wednesday of the month, from 2pm-4pm, at Longfield Community Hospice, Burleigh Lane, Stroud GL5 2PQ.

The cafe is always a welcoming place for those living with or affected by dementia, for those needing some support and those offering the support. Entrance is just a donation.

Delicious sandwiches and cake are provided with teas and coffees, along with live music and a singalong. For more information about the cafe or about possible lifts contact Richard Burt on richard.burt54@gmail.com
