“Move with Breath” is a new Friday morning class that gives you the opportunity to come as you are and who you are.

Having taught this class over the last three years with a very special local group, I feel it is now time to share the practice with the wider community in Cheltenham.

A deeply nourishing hour that focuses on reducing stress through a combination of stretching, and where a variety of different calming breathing techniques (pranayama) are used to deepen the effects of postures to help you unwind and decompress from work and daily life.

The practice is designed for people who are seeking to nourish and calm the nervous system through slow, conscious breathing and gentle and accessible movement because every physical transition is initiated and guided by the breath.

This week, very unexpectedly, I’ve got some days off…

There’s nothing more exciting than packing a little over night travel bag (well in my case…maybe two! 😂) giving myself a break of routine. A beautiful opportunity to feel free from what I know; a little breather to rest, resetting the mind, and slowing down the nervous system.

We all need this at times, so we can come back home feeling a little lighter than how we left it…😉

Join us to celebrate this auspicious point in the year with a very special Soundbath by Rose Rose Lewis from Crystal Sounds. 💎✨

On this this very special day we are celebrating Mother Earth as she gently awakens after her long winter rest.

Rose will guide you through sounds allowing to hold space for every person to honour the nature element Earth. We welcome with abundance the feelings of patience, nurturing and grounding. Take this opportunity to find relaxation on this immersive journey of Spring Equinox crystal bowl soundbath.

This elemental soundbath will begin with a few minutes of guided shamanic drumming, supporting deep grounding and anchoring into the root chakra. From there, you’ll be guided into a crystal bowl soundbath infused with connecting light language, alongside the rich, earthy tones of her Tibetan bowls. Together, these sound energies support balance, presence, and reconnection with the natural world.

This experience is open to anyone seeking greater wellbeing, grounding, and a deeper connection with Mother Earth, or simply wishing to rest in the beauty of healing frequencies and deep relaxation.

Yoga Nidra - The Art of Relaxation

After such a beautiful response to our last Yoga Nidra, we’re delighted to offer it again!

Yoga Nidra is “Yogic sleep” and one hour of Yoga Nidra is said to equate to four hours sleep. Yoga Nidra encourages profound relaxation and effortlessness.

The term Yoga Nidra derives from two Sanskrit words, Yoga meaning union and Nidra meaning sleep. It’s a beautiful practice when one appears to be in a state of sleep, but the consciousness is working on a deeper level of awareness.

It’s a deep relaxation to harmonise the deeper unconscious and awaken inner potential to connect to a meditative state of being.

This systematic method of inducing complete mental, emotional and physical relaxation is suitable for all practitioners.

For a busy mind, Yoga Nidra enables to find stillness. It is a great way to bring calm, presence and peace for those who suffer from insomnia and those who are practicing on their mindfulness and awareness.

NURTURE + NOURISH

The winter months are all about nurturing and nourishing ourselves to stay in tune with the Earth energy of the natural world we live in.

This means that it is important to be present, and to feel balanced and grounded for our health and wellbeing.

Making time and space in the diary to look after ourselves and allowing the pressure and distractions from the outside world not to overwhelm us.

Like the slow release of nature’s energy in winter time, the new Friday morning class and the upcoming events will help to align the nurturing and nourishing aspect towards the health of the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual bodies.

Foundation of Yoga - Beginners Workshop

This unique interactive workshop is for beginners and anyone who would like to learn the grounding practice and basic postures of yoga.

This 4 hour workshop will give time and space to connect and learn in a small group setting. The session will include a couple of refreshments breaks and time for Q&A.

Who is this workshop for?
* People who have always wanted to join a Yoga class but don’t know where to go and how to start!
* People who feel anxious starting something new because they worry they are not flexible enough to practice yoga.
* Students who have practised Yoga before but have maybe lost confidence in their abilities.
* Anyone who would like to connect - or reconnect - with their body and mind.

What can you expect?
* This workshop will be taught in small groups in a safe environment to benefit each individual in learning and understanding the basic yoga practice.
* Clear and safe instructions will be given so the practice will be easy to follow and understand.
* You will learn the calming and supportive way of breathing, which connects to the movement of the body.
* You will learn how the practice of yoga can enhance the way you live and how it can positively benefit your own wellbeing; physically and mentally.

By the end of the workshop, you leave the studio feeling uplifted and confident and ready for your kickstart into your Yoga journey!
