This is my beloved teacher and dear friend. We’ve known each other for years and years and we’ve spent many weeks, days and nights in each other’s company. We’ve traveled, we’ve shared some crazy fun things and have experienced devine special moments together.
Over the years we’ve had so many laughters, real ones which would give you big belly aches, but we’ve also shed some tears, the ones you would only share with someone you truly love and trust.
Love, compassion and a deep respect for one another is what kept us going.
Last Tuesday I welcomed my dear teacher back in her home town Cheltenham and I felt so grateful my students have had the rare opportunity to meet her. An opportunity to get to experience and learn that yoga is not all about the Asanas (postures) but sitting together in Satsang, sharing time with like minded people in company of truth, is also an important part of the practice too.
Tina’s “Ombelievable” evening was filled with story telling, music and chanting, pranayama, meditation, drum and crystal bowl healing was so energetically nourishing for the soul and mind. It was a divine blissful evening!
The important message we took home that evening is to live in the moment, to live right in the here and now and to do the things you love doing. Live consciously with love and compassion in the heart, do not miss anything, even the smallest part in life can be the most important one you experience. And most of all don’t forget to say “I love you” to the people who are important in your life.
🙏🏼 Thank you to the students who were part of the evening and special thank you to Dylan who took these pictures 📸 of Tina and myself….
Thank you my beloved teacher, as you say in your own words…
“A teacher breathes life into the student, and the student breathes life into the teacher.”
Hari Om 🙏🏼💕
