After 5 wonderful years as part of our dispensing team, it’s time to say goodbye to the lovely Hannah (with a we love Hannah party)
Hannah has been such a valued part of our practice, bringing warmth, care, and a genuine passion for helping every patient who walked through our doors. She’s been a friendly face and a true team player, and she will be so missed by both our team and our patients.
While we’re sad to see her leave the world of optics, we’re incredibly excited for her as she heads off to new adventures and opportunities. We know she’ll bring the same dedication and kindness to whatever she does next.

AMD Screening Session

This morning we held one of our Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) screening sessions with our optometrist James and our clinical treatment coordinator Summer, assessing patients who may benefit from the latest developments in macular care.
Macular degeneration affects the macula, the part of the retina responsible for detailed central vision. While there is currently no cure for dry AMD, new technologies are emerging that may help slow the progression of the condition.
One of the treatments we now offer is eye-light® Photobiomodulation Therapy, a non-invasive light therapy that uses specific wavelengths of red and yellow light to support retinal cell function.
Research suggests this therapy may help:
•. Support energy production in retinal cells
•. Reduce oxidative stress
•. Reduce inflammation linked to AMD progression

Our Macular Degeneration Treatment Clinic will be fully operational from April, and we are now inviting patients to book a free suitability assessment to learn more.
