Aptitude Fitness is now delivering weekly "mummy and me" classes every Wednesday morning at 10am with the wonderful Little Hatchlings

For those who havent met me before my name is Amy, I am a mum of three, I have been a personal trainer for 8 years. I specialise in delivering fitness sessions that promote confidence, build both physical and mental strength and encourage empowerment for women.
Both myself and the wonderful team at Little Hatchlings understand the barrier lack of childcare can be to fitness so we have teamed up to provide the ultimate service.
Sessions will include a mixture of functional fitness movements, use of resistance equipment, cardiovascular training and bodyweight exercises. Sessions are suitable for all levels of fitness and ability and exercises can be scaled to suit accordingly. We have both an indoor space and a brilliant outdoor space for sunnier days. (NB participants must be 6 weeks clear post vaginal birth, 12 weeks post c-section).
You will be required to bring your own exercise mat or we do have some available to buy.
Classes are limited to 10 places so please book ahead to avoid disappointment.

I just wanted to introduce myself and take a minute to share my story.
My name is Amy, I am 32 and from Cheltenham! I love climbing mountains, gardening and DIY (Coronavirus made me do it) , I am currently training for a triathlon (my first one) and am a mean chef!
In January 2016 I became a single parent, my daughter was 6 months at the time, I weighed around 20 stone, I was suffering from depression and anxiety following an emotionally abusive relationship. I desperately needed to turn my life around and didn't know where to start.
Through weight training, eating right, working hard and sheer determination I have dropped from a size 22 to 12 and have dramatically improved my physical and mental health.
In August 2017 I set up Aptitude Fitness and have helped hundreds of women on their fitness journey. I train women of all shapes and sizes, all fitness levels, able bodied and those that may require additional physical support . I am passionate about building fitness into a healthy, sustainable lifestyle and understand the impact on your confidence and mental health.
I am proud to have created a non-judgemental community of women who not only enjoy exercise, but thrive and support eachother which is incredibly empowering. My aim is to deliver sessions online and in person (when possible) that are fun and accessible for all.
