A splash of pink for a special cause 💕 This week our residents had a wonderful day celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month with colouring, pink sports, and a tasty pink tea party! 🍓☕️💗

Sip, Savour & Spook! Our brave residents took on my Franken-tini — a ghoulish green machine topped with witches’ teeth (apple slices, of course 👻). Everyone did brilliantly guessing the spooky ingredients — orange juice, pomegranate, lemonade and apple for a frightfully fruity mix! Those who dared to try were rewarded with a tasty treat from my trick-or-treat basket! 🎃🕷️🍬

We’ll be spending this coming week enjoying music in memory of Dave Saunders, thanks to the generosity of his family. We look forward to sharing photos and videos later on in the week. 🎶🎸🎤

Harvest is about sharing. We’re gathering donations for North Cotswold Food Bank — especially tinned goods, pasta, rice, powdered milk and condiments. Every little helps, and anything you bring will make a difference. Please hand in donations to staff before the 25th of September. 🥫🌾🍴

Northleach Court is opening its doors for a fun intergenerational morning at their Kids Club! 🌈 Expect music, games, laughter, and refreshments as children and residents come together for a heartwarming session of fun. 💕

Research shows that connecting the youth with the elderly boosts confidence, improves communication, and supports memory. With the summer holidays in full swing, this is a perfect chance to come together as a community and make some beautiful memories.

This will be their very first intergenerational event, with hopes to continue monthly if all goes well. 🥳

👉 Please note: a responsible adult must stay for the entire session.

We think this is such a lovely initiative and hope many families can join! 🥰

Today marks 80 years since VE Day, we celebrated with a wonderful performance in the morning, followed by a VE Day quiz in the afternoon. This week we have also made a wonderful VE Day photo wall display and made Union Jack biscuits!

Happy Good Friday everyone! This week we have been getting up to lots of Easter themed activities! From decorating the home with bunting and painted eggs to making yummy Rice Krispie cakes to enjoy on Sunday! We also made ourselves some fantastic Easter bonnets!
We even fit in some visits from our therapy animals, our lovely hairdresser Rebecca popped by and we held a table tennis tournament!

We have had such a fanstatsic day today and have been busy from the moment we woke up! This morning some of our residents had visits to our hairdresser, while others joined in with watering the plants or a movement and exercise activity!

We stopped for some yummy lunch before filling our afternoon with painting and mural making! Steph from Ribberty Rabbit Crafts guided us through painting our stencils, then gluing the painted pieces onto our spring themed canvas!

We had a busy day here at Northleach Court, starting with our spring clean in the morning. Our fantastic residents helped to sort out the socks from the wash, polished the cutlery and laid the tables, we reminisced about housework all the while!
In the afternoon our lovely friends from MindSong came to sing with us again. We sang some great songs today including Donald, Where's Your Troosers! We enjoyed that one!
We can’t wait to see our friends from MindSong again soon!

Last week we welcomed JB Steelpan Music into our home to showcase her talents on the Steelpan Drum. We enjoyed fruit mocktails with umbrellas and flower garlands to add to the fun!

We also had the pleasure of hosting a baby shower for one of our dedicated care assistants Prima. We enjoyed cake, games and celebrating the mum-to-be!
