As you probably recall (how could we forget?, we're still buzzing!) Unity celebrated her 100th birthday with us last month and graciously permitted an interview. It's the little things that are really the big things. We managed to squeeze in some beautiful garden time this afternoon before the rain came. We chatted and we sang and we blew dandelion clocks while we enjoyed some fruit platters, nibbles and drinks and just generally enjoyed each other's company. Much mirth when we discovered a snail shell & noticed that the previous occupant had vacated the property so we decided to compile an advert for Zoopla. "Snug and cosy residence in the heart of the picturesque and much sought after market town of Northleach. What a beautiful Monday. Our week has started with a bang, with the fabulous Music, movement & fun with Yvette. The smiling, laughter & singing was infectious and there wasn't a still foot in the room. Big thanks Yvette, it was lovely to have you as always ❤️
This afternoon we celebrated Earth day and using a super pack from WWF, we enjoyed a quiz. Split into 2 teams, our residents enjoyed some friendly rivalry and gosh was it a close call with Jolly hockey stix pipping the Young farmers to the post by one point. This is not just any Monday, this is a Northleach Court Monday.





Weekends....don't you just love them?! We are enjoying ours. Yesterday we had lots of one to one time which is so precio...

Weekends....don't you just love them?! We are enjoying ours. Yesterday we had lots of one to one time which is so precious as it allows time for proper, meaningful conversation. Who doesn't like a good natter?! We also played a quick fire answers game and the speed of some of the answers was astonishing. This morning, we have admired some of the sunflowers coming through, planted with care for our tallest sunflower competition. It would appear that a cat has undertaken the role of adjudicator! Clapped hands and delighted smiles all round. Visits from loved ones and Puppy love have been appreciated. The downward dog pose was most excellent, you can see why it's called that 😁
A delicious hot Sunday lunch of mouthwatering, tender gammon or chicken is being savoured before we relax and welcome Rev. Hollows for this afternoon's church service. We hope your weekend is as beautiful as ours.

Yesterday we had the enormous privilege of celebrating 36500 days of our lovely friend / resident Unity. We'll just let that sink in a minute. Not many can say they've been to a 100th birthday party. Friends and family gathered from far and wide, near and far to share good wishes and love. It was truly special and Unity would like to give her heartfelt thanks to you all. We'll let the photographs do the talking. 🍾🥂🎂

When life gives you Easter......Good Friday - live music, hot cross buns, Easter egg hunt, fun & games, friends & Family time. ✅️
Sunday - There's a what in the house?... a bunny?! Ohhh hearts turned to mush. Easter eggs all round much enjoyed & a spot of crafting to make a gift for one of our nurses who turns the next page to a new chapter of life's journey. ✅️ Thank you Eszter for everything, we wish you well.
Monday - Art & Design to make a gift for a special up & coming birthday. (🤫shhhh though, it's a suprise) ✅️
This afternoon we shall get the seed sowing of sunflowers underway for our residents Vs staff biggest sunflower challenge. Carlsberg don't do Easter, but We do.
Easter 2026, that's a wrap.😁

Hambling and Lloyd ......what can we say? You were simply wonderful ❤️ All of us here at Northleach Court would like to send you huge thanks for your Good Friday Easter eggstravaganza entertainment. The smiles, the singing and the dancing said it all really. The power of music!. It was such fun to see our lovely team getting into the groove along with our residents. What a day! Big thanks to the locals of Northleach too for joining us, it was so good of you & we all really enjoyed the community feel. Didn't the children do well hunting down the eggs! It was a joy to see. One lucky resident even found a golden egg & our team discovered some too. Big shout to our fabulous manager Fay, who bought all of the staff a chocolate egg!😋 how lucky are we!
Enjoy the rest of your long weekend, we know we shall.
