In the last few months, we’ve…

✅ Bought a house (and turned into accidental builders)
✅ Started a full renovation (aka living in a construction zone)
✅ Adopted a tiny, mischievous kitten (who thinks journals are for chewing)
✅ Started a new job (because why not add more to the plate?!)

…And somehow still running Meli Life!

A HUGE thank you to all my amazing customers!
Your patience & support mean the world – especially when postage has been a teeny bit late (blame the kitten… okay, maybe me too).

💖 You make this dream possible, and I’m so grateful! 💖

Hi friends,

A gentle reminder on Sunday morning for the week ahead.

When you focus on the good, good gets better.

One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned in therapy (and am still learning every day) is the power of reframing negative thoughts. It hasn’t been easy, and it’s definitely been a long process, but it’s truly life-changing. Shifting from self-criticism to self-compassion is a journey that takes time and patience. There are still days when negative self-talk creeps in, but I remind myself that it’s okay to feel this way. Progress isn’t about perfection; it’s about persistence and small steps forward. If you’re on this journey too, know that you’re not alone.

Let’s focus on the good together and let it grow! 💪💙

Moving forward isn't always a straight line.

For anyone struggling with mental health, you know the journey can feel endless. There are days when it seems like nothing is getting better, even though deep down you’re making small steps forward.I’ve learned that progress isn’t about rushing to feel 'better' instantly.
It’s about allowing myself to be patient, embracing each step—no matter how tiny—and trusting that, even in slow motion, I’m heading in the right direction.
To anyone out there feeling stuck or struggling, remember: you don’t have to have it all figured out right now. Just keep moving forward, one day at a time. 💫

This has been a life-changing tool I discovered in therapy, one that helped me break free from the constant cycle of self-blame. For a long time, I was my own harshest critic, always feeling like I wasn’t enough, blaming myself for everything that went wrong. It felt like I was stuck in a loop of negative thoughts and self-doubt.
I’ve learned how to be kinder to myself, to understand that making mistakes doesn’t define my worth. Healing takes time, but it’s possible. If you’re struggling with self-blame like I was, there is hope. You’re not alone, and things can get better.

Just a reminder for when life gets busy, and our cups are running empty.

Each day, I remind myself: I deserve happiness. I deserve love.
In a world that moves so fast, it’s easy to forget what we truly deserve.
Happiness isn’t something we chase—it’s something we cultivate. It comes from the little moments, the kindness we show ourselves, and the love we allow into our lives.Love surrounds us, whether from the people we care about or within our own hearts. I am worthy of it, simply because I exist. I choose to open my heart and let love flow, knowing that I deserve every bit of it.Today, I affirm:
I deserve happiness. I deserve love.
And so do you.

In light of the recent tragic events in Southport, I am more determined than ever to spread awareness about mental health. It's crucial for people to know that mental health tools are available and can be used alongside therapy or on their own.

The therapy notebooks I recommend are developed by experienced mental health professionals and are designed to support individuals in managing their mental health effectively.

If you're struggling, please remember that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Let's break the stigma and support one another. 💪

Embrace Your Emotions! 🌟

Ever heard of the Feeling Wheel? 🎡 It's a powerful tool that helps us navigate through our emotions. But here's the thing: it's not just about recognizing them; it's about embracing them, too! 🌈

Instead of pushing our feelings aside or pretending they don't exist, sitting with them allows us to truly understand ourselves. Whether it's joy, sadness, anger, or fear, each emotion has a purpose and a message for us.

So, why is it good to feel and sit with your feelings rather than avoid them? Because it's through this process that we can grow, heal, and ultimately thrive. It's about acknowledging our humanity and giving ourselves the compassion we deserve. 💖

Let's make a pact to honor our emotions, to sit with them, to learn from them, and to ultimately become stronger because of them. 🌟
