At the start of each month, I open 5 reduced-fee therapy spaces for children and young people who are struggling with anxiety, particularly where school attendance is being affected.
The therapy offered in these spaces is exactly the same as all other therapy I provide.
The only difference is the fee.
I do this because many families are doing everything they can while waiting on very long NHS or CAMHS waiting lists — often watching anxiety quietly take over everyday life: avoiding school, pulling away from friends, stopping activities they once enjoyed, losing confidence to speak up or try, and beginning to see themselves as “the problem”. Over time, learning is disrupted, social skills stall, independence shrinks, and home life becomes dominated by worry, reassurance, and conflict.
I also know that paying full private fees simply isn’t possible for some families, even when the need for help is clear.
These spaces exist to make therapy more accessible, so children don’t have to struggle on without support while waiting.
What this includes:
– assessment and shared understanding of your child’s anxiety
– a clear, shared formulation to guide therapy
– structured, ongoing therapeutic work
– parent support and guidance
– with consent, advice and liaison with your child’s school
Sessions in these spaces are offered at £50 per session when booked as a bundle (usual fee £75).
I limit this to 5 families each month so I can offer the reduced fee sustainably, while continuing to support all the families I work with.
If your child is struggling and you’re unsure what to do next, you’re very welcome to get in touch and talk things through.
