Our wonderful Optometrist Karen Gennard has written an article for , an industry magazine, outlining the benefits of the Community Ophthalmic Link (COL) which has revolutionised the way we work with secondary care. We are so lucky to have this software in Gloucestershire which has improved the integrated care of patients who are being seen in NHS Ophthalmology clinics. We had a lovely night at the Lifestyle Awards last night. Sadly we did not leave with an award but it was amazing to be one of the finalists. It was an honour to be in a room full of so many incredible business owners and charities that make Gloucestershire what it is today. Did you know that it is Myopia Awareness Week? The number of people with myopia is on the increase all around the world. It is an eye condition usually starts in childhood and gets worse with age. Therefore, early diagnosis is essential, especially now that we have myopia management treatments that can help to slow down the progression of myopia.
